Petey is a 2 year old Aussie Shepherd mix and simply the sweetest guy!<br/><br/>This sweet guy has come a long way since showing up at our doors. At first he was nervous and scared of the world. With some love and tenderness&#44 his true personality has been able to shine! <br/><br/>And&#44 wow&#44 what an amazing personality!<br/><br/>Petey is affectionate&#44 absolutely LOVES belly rubs&#44 and enjoys being the cuddly&#44 playful&#44 silly guy. When it comes to treats&#44 meaty treats are his favorite. He is still figuring out this whole walking calmly on a leash thing&#44 but most of the pulling is to be able to sniff interesting smells and deciding to roll in the grass randomly.<br/><br/>He tends to get a bit excited in his kennel when meeting new people. Hes just excited and not quite sure how to express his exuberance. Once hes outside getting to know someone&#44 hes all cuddles.<br/>Petey is truly amazing. Hes ready to find his forever home and be the best boy for his family. He is already neutered and has all his vaccinations&#44 so no need to worry about having oopsie grandpups.<br/><br/>If youre looking for a goofy sweet boy to be your new best friend&#44 come meet Petey at our Mission Valley Adoption Center&#44 9068 Socorro Rd.&#44 open daily from 12 pm - 5 pm.

Carson (born around August of 2018) is a border collie mix that came to the sanctuary after being rescued from roaming the desert and becoming a community stray. He is an extremely shy dog that prefers being with other dogs rather than being alone. He likes getting pets and going for walks with people that he knows and trusts, and he has a very pleasant demeanor, but he takes some time to warm up to new people. Carson is looking for a calm and patient family who will help him adjust to life in a home.

Greetings and tail wags, beautiful human critters!I am known to you humans as Chevy, although my friends sometimes call me Chevron or even Chevy Chase. (Humans are very silly) I came to Safe Haven when my mom couldn`t care for me anymore as she was moving overseas. I am an active, playful, intelligent border collie mix and was born around Halloween in 2016. New situations and people can make me pretty nervous, but I feel safe with everyone here at Safe Haven now! I especially love going on walks and hanging out with my doggy pen-mate. Everyone says that I am very handsome and that my bright blue eyes will steal a lot of hearts.
