She enjoys walks immensely, exhibiting a calm and easy-going temperament. What Nebula truly desires is a loving home where she can finally feel safe and secure. While her street life has made her initially cautious around new people, once she builds trust, her playful puppy-like energy resurfaces. It's a beautiful transformation to witness. We believe Nebula would thrive in a quiet and patient home, ideally with someone experienced in working with dogs who have experienced trauma. Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Story
Koda (male) was born May 4, 2023 in Greenville, SC into a family home setting, he was one of 7 puppies. Since there were so many puppies, Koda learned food aggressive behavior and even though there is always enough food now, he still has food aggressive behavior with the other dogs. Recently, I have taken in my daughters two golden retrievers, Koda and the male golden do not get along at all. A fight broke out and we had a hard time separating them. Koda would do best in home with NO other dogs or a female similar size dog. Koda will need a yard to run around in, he is a working dog and likes to play catch. He also does very well on walks, we usually go for 3 miles per day. Koda would be an even better dog if he worked with a trainer, he is potty trained and will sit and give you his paw. Please let me know if you are interested in my sweet boy.

Banjo is a 17-week-old boy weighing 21 pounds with a playful twang in his step! He’s goofy, affectionate, and always ready for fun. Rescued from the streets of Caimito, Banjo has shown nothing but love for dogs, cats, and children alike. He’s receiving all his vaccines, preventives, and will be neutered as part of his care plan. Banjo is ready to bring rhythm and joy to his forever family! Banjo will arrive in Albion, NY at the end of June and we would love to have a family waiting for him! Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
