Story
Meet Ellie — A Gentle Soul Ready for Her Second Chance 1–2 years old • Australian Shepherd mix • 45 lbsSpayed • Heartworm Negative • Up-to-date on vaccines & preventions Ellie’s story began in a place no dog should ever be — she and her sister, Amber, were left at the shelter to be euthanized. While Amber is bravely staying in Louisiana to undergo heartworm treatment, Ellie was given the chance to step forward and begin her next chapter. And she is quietly, beautifully deserving of it. Ellie is a sweet, gentle Australian Shepherd mix with a soft spirit and a loving heart. She can be a little bashful at first, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe. Ellie truly enjoys being around people and often chooses human companionship over anything else — she’s happiest when she’s close to her person. Why Ellie Is So Special    •    Gets along wonderfully with all other dogs    •    Gentle-natured but loves to play — don’t let her calm demeanor fool you; she absolutely enjoys a good romp in the yard    •    Sweet, affectionate, and quietly loyal once she warms up    •    Enjoys going for walks and does well on a leash    •    Crate trained and keeps her crate clean overnight    •    Still a bit hesitant to go into her crate on her own, but improving daily with treats and encouragement Ellie has the perfect balance of calm and playful. She’s happy to run and wrestle with her dog friends, then settle in beside you for quiet companionship. Ellie Is Ready for Her Forever After coming so close to losing everything, Ellie deserves a home where she will always feel safe, loved, and secure. She would thrive in a home that values patience, gentle bonding, and a dog who truly wants to connect with her people. If you’re looking for: a gentle but fun-loving companion a dog who enjoys both playtime and snuggles a loyal soul with a grateful heart Ellie may be the one you’ve been waiting for.  If you would like Ellie to join your family please fill out an adoption application.  Her $475 adoption fee covers all medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, Spay, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY. ##2616399##

Story
Sasha is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. -Sasha is a female and is around 1 year old (January 24th) -We are guessing she may be a mixture of Miniature Australian Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler. -Weighs 25-30 pounds -Came into a local shelter and we pulled her due to lack of kennel space -Does well with other dogs, loves to play -Sweet towards people -May be housebroken, does not go to the bathroom in her crate/kennel and immediately uses the bathroom when she is put outside -Loves belly rubs -Doesn't bark (as of yet) -Video of Sasha from January 18: https://youtube.com/shorts/d4HSwuArYt0 Sasha is spayed, vaccinated (DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies), dewormed, microchipped, and is on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Tested negative for heartworms on December 6th. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $900, this is including all vetting above and transport cost. Please fill out this application FIRST if you'd like to adopt Sasha: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053 If you aren't contacted within 48 hours after filling out online form, please contact us again at 580-257-0622 or luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com. Story
Hello! My husband and I acquired our dog 4 years ago from a breeder in a rural area around us at the time. We had 4 lovely and fun years with him but recently had a new baby. He has since been skiddish and unpredictable around the baby and we are not able to have the baby and dog alone in the same room. We are looking for a loving person that will love our boy as this is an extremely hard decision for us.

Story
Almond Joy, mmmm. A little nutty, a lotta sweet. I am made of love, sunshine and SUGAR!! Here is what my foster has to say: "Almond Joy came in as a mama with one pup. Now that that's past her, she is living her own puppyhood again! She loves to play play play and run run run! She looks at you with her soft, brown eyes and melts your heart! She just really wants a soft place to land. If that is your home, she is ALL IN! Almond Joy does not have to have another dog but she really would LOVE to have a gentle, playful friend." If you have been looking for the right fit for your family, look NO FURTHER! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
