Story
Moose is a very sweet but very high energy dog who needs a lot of attention. He is just under a year old and world be a great addition to your home if you are familiar with high energy, slightly stubborn dogs. It breaks my heart to rehome him, but my other dog suffers from stress induced seizures and his high energy has caused her to have them much more frequently. He is crate trained and I'm happy to send the crate with you. I'm willing to negotiate or remove the adoption fee for the right candidate.

Story
Hi! I'm Cash (formerly known as Jack)! **experience with high energy herding/working breeds is required** Intake type: Surrender DOB: 5/13/25 I am an active pup who would love to find the perfect home to call my own! Someone who will take me for lots of long walks, and weekend adventures would be amazing. I'll make the perfect companion for someone whose looking for an active adventure buddy! Now, I know you're probably wondering why I've been surrendered back to the shelter. Let me start off by saying that I am a very good boy, who just needs a family who understands my needs and is willing and able to help me be the best version of myself! With that being said, let me elaborate. I'm a young, high energy, and intelligent fella. They say smart boys like myself often tend to get bored easily or may even get frustrated when put into stressful or exciting situations. Often times we find our very own special ways of entertain ourselves like snooping around and chewing on mom or dads favorite pair of shoes when we're bored or frustrated, but sometimes we may develop unwanted behaviors and act out as well. I have been known to be quite the mischievous little fella when I'm bored, but my previous family stated that I do get a bit anxious at times as well. My previous family said I was getting a bit nippy towards the young kiddos in the home, which is ultimately what led my family to return me to the shelter. Please do not bash my previous family. They worked very hard to understand and correct this behavior, but the difficult decision to find me a home that is better suited for my needs was made. Once again, I am not a bad pup, I just need to find the right fit, and I'm hoping it could be you! Being I'm just a youngster, I am, of course, still in need of some work on my manners. My shelter family says I have some real potential as I am very food motivated and a quick learner, which will hopefully make training a breeze! I seem to do well with the other dogs I have met so far, and I would love to have a pal to teach me the ropes. My shelter family says I may be able to go to a home with older kiddos 12+ who are able to understand and respect my boundaries, but I'd be perfectly content with an adult only home instead. As always, a meet and greet is required between any dogs or kiddos in your home to be sure we will get along just fine! If you think we could be a good match, come down to the shelter to meet me! https://www.hornellanimalshelter.org/Adoptionprocessandfees
