While Amber is bravely staying in Louisiana to undergo heartworm treatment, Ellie was given the chance to step forward and begin her next chapter. And she is quietly, beautifully deserving of it. Ellie is a sweet, gentle Australian Shepherd mix with a soft spirit and a loving heart. She can be a little bashful at first, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe. Ellie truly enjoys being around people and often chooses human companionship over anything else — she’s happiest when she’s close to her person. She is 3 years old. She is 55 lbs. I got her from a friend. She is a very sweet dog loves attention. I'm looking for a good home for her where she can be loved and get the attention she deserves. Someone with a fenced in backyard where she run around. We don't have a lot of space or big enough yard for her to run around. She likes Wegmans nature. Her preference flavor is chicken and salmon. She tends to be picky with other foods.
