Story
Nebula, a truly beautiful dog. While her past holds some hardship – she was found living on the streets with her seven puppies – her spirit shines through. Nebula is a sweet and beautiful girl, possessing a gentle nature that will blossom with the right amount of patience and understanding. Nebula's intelligence is evident in her quick grasp of commands. She's already house-trained and crate-trained, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt. She enjoys walks immensely, exhibiting a calm and easy-going temperament. What Nebula truly desires is a loving home where she can finally feel safe and secure. While her street life has made her initially cautious around new people, once she builds trust, her playful puppy-like energy resurfaces. It's a beautiful transformation to witness. We believe Nebula would thrive in a quiet and patient home, ideally with someone experienced in working with dogs who have experienced trauma. With the right care, she'll become the most loyal and loving companion imaginable. If you're interested in learning more about Nebula and potentially offering her a loving forever home, please don't hesitate to contact us. $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

Story
Dee Jay is a male Australian Shepherd mix.  He has a LOT of PUPPY ENERGY, so he will need a family that will take the time and patience to give him obedience training.  He's sweet and loving, but the boy wants to play!  He would be great with an active family.  He would love a fenced in back yard to play, but that's not a requirement.  He would probably do better in a family with older children who are taught how to handle him well.  ~Adoption donation $400 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and neutered. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Story
To apply to adopt, please email littlebigdogrescue.25@gmail.com for an Adoption Application. Azalea was born 2/12/25 and has been raised in her foster home since birth! She is a very sweet and energetic girl who loves to run and play and follow you around! One of her favorite things ever is to have her belly rubbed! She is very well socialized with people and dogs! We did a DNA test on her through Embark and she is:   50% Australian Shepherd 18.5% Treeing Walker Coonhound 18.5% Mountain Cur 13% Australian Cattle Dog   We are looking for a local home for her as she was recently diagnosed with a heart murmur. As of this time it is too early to tell if this will be a long term problem for her or something she may outgrow! We are happy to provide more information if you are potentially interested in this sweet girl! She is located in Christiansburg, VA.   To fill out an Adoption Application, please email littlebigdogrescue.25@gmail.com Adoption fees are $250 unless otherwise stated.  Senior dog adoption fees are $200.  100% of adoption fees are put back into the rescue so that another lonely and neglected dog can be rescued. We are grateful for your interest. Upon approval, the adoption fee is non-refundable. The fee includes the following: de-worming; heartworm, lymes, ehrlichia and anaplasmosis testing; all vaccinations including rabies; flea and tick treatment, microchipping and spay/neuter.
