Story
Meet Carmy! 🐻
Yes, that Carmy — named after Carmen from the TV series The Bear, because as you can see, he’s basically a tiny teddy bear in puppy form. Carmy is a playful and friendly yet independent little guy! He loves playtime — especially tug of war, romping around outside, and lots of wrestling with his foster siblings. He also enjoys cozy naps (though usually on the floor or dog bed as he’s not a big cuddler), a good chew, and playing with toys of all kinds. He’s working on potty training, and is doing well with crate training. Like many puppies his age, Carmy is in a teething phase and is still learning appropriate mouth manners with people and other pups. He is especially nippy, which may be influenced by his breed and natural instincts. While this is normal for some puppies, it may make him suited best in a home without young children. With training and time, he should grow out of this phase! Now for the question everyone wants to know: what breed is he?
Your guess is as good as ours! Based on looks (and his equally adorable siblings), his fosters personal guess for Carmy is a Shepnees (Australian Shepherd x Great Pyrenees). Though he could be a mix with Australian Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, Bernese Mountain Dog, Newfoundland, Collie, or something else entirely! Aka he is a dog with a whole lot of fluff, loyalty, brains, and potential size packed into one cute pup. What that could mean for his future family:
• He will likely grow into a medium to large dog
• He’ll need daily outdoor time and room to explore
• Smart, working or herding-type breeds thrive with training, structure, and mental enrichment
• He may enjoy having a “job” — hikes, exploring, learning new skills
• Early and continued socialization and training will be important as he grows • Fluffy coat = regular brushing recommended (worth it, we promise)
Carmy would do best with active adopter(s) ready to invest in puppy training, enrichment, and adventures. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate companion who wants to be involved in your life and grow alongside you. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and adorable floof who will thrive with guidance and love — Carmy might be your guy 🐾

Story
Meet Cubby! 🐻 Cubby is the kind of puppy who knows how to do his own thing… but still wants to know what you’re up to. He’s a confident, curious little guy with a gentle independence — happy to entertain himself with toys and chew bones, yet always keeping a quiet eye on his people like a little shadow. Cubby isn’t a long, snuggly cuddler (that fluffy coat gets warm), but you’ll often find him sprawled out in a perfect sploot on a cool spot on the floor after a good play session. He’s thoughtful, observant, and seems to take the world in at his own pace — a puppy who balances independence with connection really nicely. Potty training is still a work in progress (he is a baby, after all!), but Cubby is doing wonderfully with crate and pen time. He settles well when confined, sleeps through the night in a crate in his foster’s bedroom, and shows great potential for continued structure-based training. Like most puppies his age, Cubby is very much in the teething phase and is learning appropriate mouth manners. He can be a bit nippy as he explores the world (and fingers!) with his mouth, which is completely normal for a 10-week-old pup but may make a home with very small children a little tricky right now. With consistent training, redirection, and time, this is something he’s expected to outgrow. Now for the big question — what breed is Cubby? Just like his siblings, he’s a bit of a mystery! Based on appearance and temperament, his foster’s best guess is a mix that could include Australian Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, Newfoundland… or some delightful combination of fluffy, smart, and adventure-ready. Translation: Cubby is likely to grow into a medium to large dog with brains, independence, and a gorgeous coat. What that could mean for his future family: • He will likely grow into a medium to large dog • He’ll benefit from regular outdoor time and room to explore • Intelligent, working-type breeds thrive with consistent training and mental enrichment • He may enjoy having a “job” — hikes, exploring, learning new skills • Continued training and socialization will be key as he matures • Independent pups still need guidance — structure helps them shine • Thick, fluffy coat = routine brushing recommended • Best suited for an active, patient home committed to training and adventure Cubby is looking for a family ready to invest in his growth through training, exploration, and shared experiences. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, quiet companionship, and the kind of presence that feels steady and grounding. If you’re looking for a smart, independent pup with a soft side and a big future ahead, Cubby just might be your perfect match 🐾

Story
Aurora is a sweet and loving dog. She’s eager to please, and a very smart cookie. Aurora is a standard purebred black-tri Australian Shepherd. She is the littermate to one of my other aussies, so I have all of her records from her breeder. We have had her in our care since December 13th 2025, but have known her from day one as she was originally our friends dog. Aurora definitely needs a family that has the patience for her training needs. Since being with us she now knows sit, wait, no, enough, and is eager to learn more. She grew up in a home that had another dog and a cat. She also has some experience with kids, specifically a newborn. She is okay with cats, doesn’t seem to understand they don’t like her haha. She is good with dogs but definitely needs other high energy dogs. Reason for rehome: We do love her like our own, but unfortunately we don’t have the time or resources to give her what she needs. As we are expecting a little one of our own.
