Story
URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming-Waterloo, SC Luna is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd mix and weighs around 60 lbs. She isn’t spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots or on heartworm prevention. Luna is great with older children! She hasn’t been tested around cats, dogs, or younger children. Luna is mostly housebroken, but isn’t crate-trained. Her owner says she is a sweet girl! She was abandoned in the road and the current owner picked her up after she was bumped by a car. The owner is surrendering her because they already have their own pets and are unable to keep her. She needs to go by 12/31! If you think you can provide a great home for Luna, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Luna. Owner’s Contact Information: Amy Haynes at (828) 320-5576 or amyhaynesphotography@gmail.com.

He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Norman is good with older children, but tries to herd younger children. No cats or dogs, due to his reactivity! The owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t get along with the other dogs in the home and has become very dog aggressive over the past couple of years. The owner has tried to work with him on this, but he hasn’t improved. If you think you can provide a great home for Norman, please contact the owner listed below. Story
***LOCATED IN NEW YORK*** This gorgeous girl is Maya! Maya is in search of a new home and is estimated to be between 3-4 years old. She is super loyal and only has eyes for her people. Maya is fearful of strangers and tends to back away if strangers try to pet her. Shes a quiet dog who never barks unless someones approaching the front door. Shes calm around other dogs but is not a good fit with cats. This sweet girl is a real homebody who prefers to remain indoors. She tends to be fearful when being walked and is eager to get back inside. Maya walks best when she is farther from home because when she knows home is close, she pulls hard on the leash to get back home. She would do best in a quiet neighborhood where her path for daily walks does not involve being surrounded by passing cars and trucks on every side. She is good in the car. Maya has an independent spirit. She enjoys affection in small doses and will come to you with licks; look into your eyes with her deep, soulful eyes and offer up a paw for a few minutes at a time, then shell be on her way. Shes not been big on toys but loves treats! Shes obedient and respectful and will listen right away. She has great training potential. Maya will be an absolute joy for the right person: someone who wants a quiet companion and not a social butterfly; someone who does not have their heart set on a lap dog but will be content to have this beautiful girl faithfully nearby. We promised Maya that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life. Could that be with you? ***APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com*** We provide meet-and-greets by appointment with an application on file.
