You may have seen Dee-Oh-Gee posted several months ago when he was just a baby. He came to us from our rural shelter partner in upstate SC after being brought in as an owner surrender with his four siblings. Dee-oh-Gee and his brothers and sisters were busted out of the shelter and came to Charleston when they were 9 weeks old. They got all of their veterinary care and went off to their forever homes. Sadly, Dee-Oh-Gee's family had some life changes that made it difficult to care for Dee-Oh-Gee. So now, this sweet boy is back on the market due to no fault of his own. Dee-oh-Gee is great with other dogs and cats and all around a super sweet silly little pup! Dee is house trained, crate trained, and ready to settle into his true forever. Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Summerville, SC Meet Cola! She is a 11 year old Australian Shepherd mix (other breed is unknown) and weighs 60 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm prevention. No kids or cats due to her reactivity! She hasn’t been tested around other dogs recently, but typically tends to be the alpha when around other dogs. The owner is surrendering her because of personal health issues. She needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Cola, please contact the person listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Cola. Meet Dutch! This rambunctious 5-year old, blue and brown eyed boy loves to play with all the toys, go for long walks and cuddle on the couch. His favorite times of day are breakfast and dinner and his life's mission is to destroy all squeakers. Dog friendly and cat curious, Dutch would do best in a home with another energetic dog to play with or an owner dedicated to daily play, walks and training. Dutch has a skin condition which is under evaluation, but that doesn't stop him from being a loving and goofy companion. A fenced yard is highly encouraged for Ditches future adoptive home. WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs. If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive.
