Story
Meet Porter, a 50-pound fluffball with some border collie thrown into the mix. He was originally found as a stray wandering the streets, and then he got adopted into a loving home for 6 years. Unfortunately, Porter ended up back here at the sanctuary for not doing well with the cats in the home. Given this, it is a good idea to place him into a home without any small animals to trigger his prey drive. Porter also lived with another large-breed dog and 5 children, which he did fairly well with, but would growl or snap if he was bothered too much. It is always important for parents to recognize dog body language and make sure any children treat the pets properly. Porter is a senior dog now, so it is more important than ever to have a less chaotic home. He is very sweet and friendly to every human he meets, and he loves rolling around outside. He is very smart; his previous owners mentioned that he was potty-trained. Although we can never guarantee such a thing here, it has been apparent that he can at least learn things quickly. Porter is ready to go on some relaxing adventures with you, so if you`re interested in him, please fill out an application on our website: https://www.halliehill.com/dog-adoption-application/

AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ADOPTION ONLY. Country star Ella Langley just made history by absolutely sweeping the ACM Awards, taking home a record-setting five trophies in a single night. But if you ask us, our sweet Langley is the biggest prize of them all—a true award-winning jackpot of a pup who has beaten the odds! ❤️ A Story of Survival & Resilience Langley came into the shelter alongside her foster "sister," Pearce, after surviving a horrific situation. Langley suffered two gunshot wounds to her leg, which severely fractured the bone. She underwent surgery to repair and will soon be ready for her forever home. Now, she is a beautiful pup, and her strength is nothing short of inspiring. Even during her first few days when she was in immense pain and learning how to navigate the world on three legs, her tail never stopped wagging. She faces every single day with a grin and a happy thump of her tail. 🏡 Your Ultimate Shadow If you’re looking for a loyal companion, Langley is your girl. All she truly wants out of life is to be right by your side. She is a massive fan of other dogs, especially her sister Pearce. One of her absolute favorite daily routines is plopping down right outside her sister's crate just to say, "Hey, just checking in, I’m right here!" She is incredibly affectionate and specializes in gentle, loving face licks. 🌟 Easygoing & Sweet To put it simply: nothing bothers this girl. She takes life completely in stride with total grace. Langley is highly food-motivated (which makes training a breeze!) and just deeply, genuinely happy to be here. Langley is healing beautifully from her surgery, and will be spayed and ready to go home soon. She and Pearce survived the unthinkable together, and now Langley is ready to find the happily ever after she so deeply deserves!

Story
Meet DANDY! DANDY is a happy, high-spirited boy with a signature look you won’t forget—and a heart that’s even bigger than his smile. He came to our rescue after enduring serious abuse that left him without a lower jaw. Because of that, his tongue is always out, but don’t let his appearance fool you: DANDY feels great, lives life to the fullest, and is all about fun. This guy is social, energetic, and dog-friendly. He thrives in large playgroups and loves a good yard game—especially fetch and keep-away with his favorite pals, YAM and BLU. With people, DANDY is pure sweetness. He seeks affection, leans into love, and truly enjoys being close to his humans. DANDY does have one simple daily need: his kibble should be slightly softened so he can eat comfortably. Other than that, he’s a joyful, active dog who’s ready to be someone’s best friend. If you’re looking for a resilient, loving companion with a whole lot of personality, DANDY is ready to meet you. 📄 Apply to adopt: www.noahs-arks.net/nar-application 📧 NoahsArksRescue@mac.com ☎️ 843-540-6755 📱 See more of us on Instagram: @noahsarksrescue ABOUT US: Noah’s Arks Rescue is a nonprofit providing emergency medical help and rehabilitation to abused and neglected dogs.
