Story
Ivy was adopted from a shelter. She had been abused. We have had her since 2020. She is 5 years old. Since she was abused at an early age she does not like children and is very picky about people and other dogs. Even though she had a hard beginning once Ivy chooses you as her person you will be shown love all the time. She sleeps in her crate at night and is an inside and outside dog. Ivy needs space to run or taken out for exercise. She does not chew on furniture but loves bones as treats. Ivy sometimes thinks she is small and sits on your lap to give you kisses. She sometimes shares our bed. She is a goofy dog that plays like a puppy. She will play fetch but mostly inside. The commands she know are sit, lay down, in,bed,and leave it. She was raised around farm animals. If you have chickens she will not eat them. She might want to give a hand getting them back in the hen house. As long as you tell her to "leave it" she will not bother it again. She is a sweet and good girl.

With her beautiful red-and-white coat and fluffy tail, she turns heads wherever she goes—but it’s her tender heart that truly shines. She has a peaceful demeanor and enjoys lounging comfortably, soaking up quiet moments and affection. She’s great with other dogs, children, old and young people alike! Unknown if she doesn’t well with cats (we don’t have any). She’s a mini Australian Shepherd/collie-type mix, giving her both intelligence and sensitivity. She would thrive in a home that offers patience, kindness, and companionship—whether that’s relaxing at your feet, enjoying easy walks, or simply being near her people. She has the kind of soulful gaze that makes you feel instantly understood. Meet Suki!! She’s an Aussie Lab max who loves to run and play. She’s a little over a year old and is a very anxious dog. We aren’t able to meet her needs with her anxiety and need to rehome her to a loving home. She is up to date on her shots and is spade.

Amber and her sister, Margot, were dumped, and luckily, not like so many other dumped dogs that get killed or starve, they were picked up by someone in rescue. They have been together all their lives, and we would love to see them stay together if possible. So, please check out Margot too if you are interested in this sweet girl.Amber lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone. The girls sleep and eat in the same kennel and love to cuddle together. Amber has good house manners and is crate trained. She loves attention, even if she is a bit timid with new people.She is fully vetted, current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.

Margot and her sister were picked up as strays. Luckily, someone found them before they starved or were killed. She and her sister, Amber, have been together their entire lives, so we would love to see them adopted together, if possible.Both girls are athletic, but Margot so much that she can jump and climb over the fences at her foster home to go where she pleases. Luckily, she stays on her property and goes into different areas to play with the other dogs or her foster family. Her foster has not worked on trying to keep her contained, but this would be a concern until she could adjust to her new home; she does have excellent recall. We have a portable containment system to send with her for someone willing to work with that training.Margot lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone, including the livestock rescues. She has good house manners, is crate trained, and is working on walking on a leash.She is fully vetted - current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartwormprevention.
