Story
Rusty is a 3-year-old male Miniature Australian Shepherd. He currently lives with adults, children, dogs, and a cat. He is affectionate, loyal, and loves being with his people. One of his favorite ways to show affection is by giving plenty of kisses. Rusty is currently up to date on all of his vaccinations. Over the past several months, Rusty has developed aggression toward the other male dog in our home. Because of this, we believe he would do best as the only dog or in a home with female dogs only. He gets along very well with our female dog. He also lives with a cat and generally ignores her. On a few occasions, he has needed to be redirected to leave her alone, but he has never shown aggression toward her. When meeting new people, Rusty will bark until he understands they are welcome. Rusty is an active dog who loves having space to run and play. Finding the right home for Rusty is our top priority. We love Rusty very much and want to ensure he is placed in the right home.

Story
Amber and her sister, Margot, were dumped, and luckily, not like so many other dumped dogs that get killed or starve, they were picked up by someone in rescue. They have been together all their lives, and we would love to see them stay together if possible. So, please check out Margot too if you are interested in this sweet girl.Amber lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone. The girls sleep and eat in the same kennel and love to cuddle together. Amber has good house manners and is crate trained. She loves attention, even if she is a bit timid with new people. She is fully vetted, current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.

Story
Margot and her sister were picked up as strays. Luckily, someone found them before they starved or were killed. She and her sister, Amber, have been together their entire lives, so we would love to see them adopted together, if possible. Both girls are athletic, but Margot so much that she can jump and climb over the fences at her foster home to go where she pleases. Luckily, she stays on her property and goes into different areas to play with the other dogs or her foster family. Her foster has not worked on trying to keep her contained, but this would be a concern until she could adjust to her new home; she does have excellent recall. We have a portable containment system to send with her for someone willing to work with that training.Margot lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone, including the livestock rescues. She has good house manners, is crate trained, and is working on walking on a leash. She is fully vetted - current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartwormprevention.

Story
River is a 5 year old Red merle Aussie. We got River when he was 10 weeks old from a local breeder. He has been raised with our young children and other dogs. River has spent 6 weeks in a training program. He is well behaved on leash, as soon as he is on leash he treats it as his job to do and will give you his full attention. However, River is dog aggressive with my other dog therefor I would not recommend him to anyone who has dogs. I don't recommend children either. Additionally, He has completed a 2 week program for aggression with my other dog whom the problems started with and it was unsuccessful. We have done everything we can at this point and its become unfair and unsafe to both our dogs. This is why we are looking to rehome River. Ideally the best option for River is an older couple who just wants one dog for protection and companionship or a young adult looking for a best friend. River is loyal, trained, and has plenty of energy for adventures.
