Story
Darling was a family members dog and she was abandoned when they moved out darling was left behind. I work too much and have another pet with special needs and a busy enough schedule. She a little over 2 years old and tends to follow your lead she can be very energetic and playful especially outside. On the other hand she can be very calm and cuddly aswell as a massive love bug. She's good with other dogs and cats too and she is very food driven.

Story
Meet Cooper, a three-year-old German Shepherd/Border Collie mix weighing around 60 pounds. What breed is Cooper? Your guess is as good as ours! Every staff member sees something different in this handsome guy—maybe a little Doberman, a touch of Husky, or a mix of 20 breeds. Whatever he is, one thing`s for sure: Cooper is 100% lovable!Cooper is an active, goofy boy with what we jokingly call `ADHD`—he`s always ready for the next adventure! Whether he`s splashing around in water, lounging in a kiddie pool on a warm day, or following his nose on a hike, Cooper loves staying busy and exploring the world around him. He`s friendly, treat-motivated, and already knows how to `sit.` Cooper enjoys learning and would thrive with continued training. He can be strong on the leash, especially when something interesting catches his attention, so he`ll do best with someone who can help him polish his leash manners while giving him plenty of exercise and mental enrichment. If you`re looking for an energetic sidekick to join you on hikes, walks, camping trips, or any outdoor adventure, Cooper is ready to be your loyal partner. Bring the treats, and he`ll bring the fun! This pet is available for adoption on 8.7.26 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. Meet Hershey, a two-and-a-half-year-old Cattle Dog/Kelpie mix weighing around 65 pounds.Hershey is pure joy on four legs! This friendly, outgoing boy loves everyone he meets and can turn any moment into a celebration with his wiggly body and goofy antics. He’s enthusiastic, playful, and always ready for attention—especially if it comes with pets, scratches, or belly rubs.Hershey did have his tail docked due to “happy tail,” but it hasn’t slowed him down one bit. He still wiggles with excitement for every person, every toy, and every new adventure. His happiness is truly contagious! He has also met other dogs while with us and done very well, enjoying playing with them and doing zoomies. This chocolate-colored bundle of fun is full of energy, love, and silly charm. Story
Meet Skinny, a one-year-old Border Collie/Husky mix weighing 63 pounds.Skinny is a gentle soul who’s ready for a fresh start. Skinny was found as a stray after spending about a week on the run before animal control was finally able to bring him to safety. Since arriving, he has shown himself to be a very sweet boy, though the world is still a little overwhelming for him right now.Everything seems new to Skinny, and while he can be nervous in unfamiliar situations, he truly wants to please and looks to people for reassurance. Despite likely having very little experience before coming in, he has already surprised everyone by walking nicely on a leash and trying his best to learn.Skinny will thrive in a patient, caring home that can give him the time, love, and socialization he needs to build confidence. With some TLC, gentle guidance, and consistency, this sweet boy has all the potential to become a loyal and loving companion. This pet is available for adoption on 5/24/2026 3:22 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
