He is currently around three years old, I acquired him from a random owner in Eatonville when he was just 1 years old. The kind of home that I'm hoping would take him is a home in which he can be the only dog or at least amongst others his size. He isn't aware of his strength but still deserves to be loved. Great ways to describe him is loving, curious, adventurous and quite an appetite. He can be a bit nervous at times but generally means well, just wasn't truly socialized as a pup. He does well as a home body but would also be very great for those that are active.  The reason that I'm trying to find another home for him, is he doesn't take too well from male dogs and the male dog we have at home is a third of his size. He takes quite an offense when a male dog corrects him and its best if that male dog was atleast his size. Otherwise with the other dogs we have he's fine with but we assume its because the other ones are female.   Bonus: Is leash and crate trained, and can sit and lay

Bailey is a great dog. He is affectionate and really loyal. I trained him off leash. He gets distracted but he would never run away. He has some guard dog qualities and will alert when someone is outside. He is house trained and good with kids and other animals. It may take him a bit to warm up per his breed, but afterwards he will always want to be with you. I got a new job and am not home like i used to be to walk, etc. I used to take him to work with me, but can’t anymore. He has a lot of energy and would make a great farm or single family home dog. He does like sleeping inside with me under my bed. Ideal parent would be someone who has the time to have a good relationship with Bailey and get him better outside time on or off leash.

Hi, my name is Maddie Fortune! I'm a beautiful six-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler and I weigh about 52 pounds. My world changed when my owner had to move into a nursing care facility. My best friend, Freckles, and I lost the only home we had ever known, but thankfully a wonderful rescue stepped in to help us find the loving forever homes we deserve. I'm a sweet, gentle girl with a calm nature. Since coming into rescue, Ive learned how to walk on a leash something I never needed before because I had a large fenced yard where I could run and explore. I enjoy going on walks and spending time with my people, but I prefer quieter environments over busy, hectic ones. I'm still building my confidence with new experiences, so I'll do best in a home with a securely fenced yard while I settle in. Because of my personality, my caregivers don't think an apartment or condo without a yard would be the right fit for me. With a little patience and encouragement, my confidence continues to grow every day. I get along well with other dogs, I'm calm and well-mannered in the house, and I'm not much of a barker. Ive also spent time around my family's grandchildren and did very well. I haven't been around cats, so I'm hoping for a home without feline roommates. I'm house trained, crate trained, heartworm negative, and currently on heartworm prevention. I'm also spayed, microchipped, healthy, and up to date on all of my vaccinations. I'm Dixie, and I'm looking for my very own forever family! My story started with a heartbreaking chapter. My human passed away, leaving my mama and all six of us puppies behind. Thankfully, we got our chance at a fresh start, and now I'm ready to find the family I've been waiting for. We think I'm an Australian Shepherd x Cattle Dog mix, which means I may have inherited some serious smarts along with my good looks. And speaking of looks — have you noticed my eyes? I've got one of those gorgeous blue-eyed looks that makes people stop scrolling and say, "Well, would you look at HER!" I reckon I was born knowing how to work the camera!
