At 2 years old and around 45 pounds, Dante is the perfect-sized partner in crime. He’s good with dogs, great with kids, and even gets along with cats — which is impressive given that many Aussies consider cats to be mysterious, poorly timed flock members. Dante says, “No worries, mate. We’re cool.” He was previously heartworm positive, but he has completed treatment like the brave champ he is and is now cleared and ready for his forever home. Fully vetted, neutered, and house trained — this boy is as turn-key as they come. A couple things you should know: • Dante is barky. Not “I’m yelling at every leaf,” but definitely “I have opinions and I would like to share them.” • Because of that, apartment life = big nope. • Outdoorsy, active families = HUGE YES. He wants adventures! Hikes! Road trips! Splash zones! Life! Dante would thrive with a family who will include him in the everyday moments and the big fun ones — from coffee runs and yard projects to camping trips and long scenic walks. FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Jigsaw! Jigsaw is a one-year-old, 40 lb Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded CA shelter. He’s a total goofball — silly, playful, and full of happy energy! Jigsaw has a unique brown merle coat, a soft fluffy texture, a gray-speckled muzzle, and warm brown eyes. He’s as beautiful as he is fun! He’s great with other dogs and very tolerant in play. He can be a little vocal when he sees dogs (he gets excited!), but once he meets them, all he wants to do is play. He’s an active, intelligent herding breed mix who will thrive in an active home. We’re looking for adopters with herding breed experience who understand his need for exercise, structure, continued socialization, and training. Jigsaw bonds well with his people and enjoys cuddling, but he’s definitely a “go, go, go” type of dog. He’d love a home with another playful dog who can be a great role model. As an only dog, he’ll need adopters committed to keeping up his social skills. Because he can be vocal, Jigsaw would do best in a standalone home with a yard. He’s a wonderful, lively young dog who’s ready for adventure and a family of his own! Jigsaw UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
