Thor was born 4/11/20 and weighs 51 lbs . He is house and crate trained and does well with other dogs and children. Thor is enrolled in the 'cell dog' training program to work on the basics. Cell dog- they are with an inmate handler in the prison to work on basic commands, house and crate training. Each dog that comes out may have varying levels of training due to their personality and history prior to arriving at the rescue. The adoption fee includes the neuter, microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing. What can be said about this pint sized Mini Aussie named RANGER? Plenty, actually. RANGER arrived at the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH last week. His family never came for him, so he’s now available for adoption. RANGER has the sweetest silliest personality and a zest for life. When he’s especially happy, his butt wiggles and he’ll launch himself with all 4 feet off the ground. Did we mention his short legs? They come with advantages. Not for him, but for you. There won’t be counter surfing unless someone provides a chair. There won’t be dumpster diving unless someone provides a ladder. Poor RANGER is vertically challenged. When he first got to the pound, RANGER was afraid to walk through the door. We figured it was because he was probably an outside dog. Now, however, he walks in like he owns the place and signs paychecks. RANGER has two favorite activities. The first is to play, especially with kids. At about 2 years old, RANGER is a kid too and he loves to be with other kids. His other favorite activity is chasing cats. Is RANGER herding them as his breed might suggest or is he all about the thrill of the chase? Only RANGER knows, but many a cat has ended up a tree. In fact, the house where he liked to visit had kids, cats, and trees. RANGER is looking for a family to call his own. If there are kids, that’s even better. Life has become extremely busy and they deserve a better living situation. They are bright, eager to please, and will thrive in a home that can give them structure, attention, and the love they deserve. And ideal home for them would include adults or family with older, respectful children, a home with a fenced in yard, someone familiar with or willing to learn learn about about hurting breeds, and no cats or small animals. They can be adopted separately or together.

Clyde is a happy, playful boy who believes there's simply way too much fun to be had to sit still for very long! He's always ready for the next wrestling match, a good case of the zoomies, or a toy that needs his immediate attention. Other dogs are definitely Clyde's favorite playmates. He absolutely loves his puppy roommates and is happiest right in the middle of whatever they're doing. Whether they're racing around the yard, wrestling, or investigating something new, you can count on Clyde joining the party. He's also been respectful of the cats in his foster home. Clyde enjoys his people too and gets excited when he sees you—he'll happily engage in a little human-versus-puppy wrestling match! He's just not quite as interested in stopping for pets and cuddles as some of his roommates. Right now, playtime wins over snuggle time, and with so much puppy business on his schedule, who can blame him? As he continues getting more individual attention and bonding with his own family, we think there's still plenty of Clyde's personality waiting to unfold. He loves toys, running around outside, and putting those puppy legs to good use. He's currently working on potty training and learning all the other skills that come with growing into a very good boy. Clyde would love a family that appreciates his playful spirit and will give him the time and space to build his relationship with them naturally. And if there's another playful dog in the family? Clyde would probably consider that a pretty fantastic bonus. Local adoption fee is $350 (in texas) and $650 for out of state adoption fee ( includes transport to your area)

Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $300 (in TX)
