Hi, my name is Olive. I’m the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. I love hugs. Like, put my arms around your neck and HUG you. I am super smart and have already learned to potty outside, sit, “kennel up” and much more. My foster mom has 2 kids, another dog and a cat. I’m so good with all of them although I don’t understand why the cat doesn’t want hugs. I’m trying hard to win her over though. Treats and naps are my favorite thing in the whole world. I started off life with my foster mom very skinny and I’m doing my best to fatten up a bit. I’m so excited to find my forever home. I’ll be your best friend! Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

They don’t understand where their people went. Zoey was adopted last month. Today she returned for me to get a second chance to make it right. I am frustrated. So frustrated that everything we ask an owner to do when they adopt wasn’t done. No vet appointment. Never registered the microchip. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Today is a new beginning for Zoey. Over the next few days we will get her back on track and ready to find her forever family. Adopting a dog is a big commitment. Lily is a wonderful dog who would be good for a suitable single home or a couple! No children as she’s not kid friendly, no other animals not animal friendly, she’s house trained, she is crate trained but hates it she will bark the whole time. She likes being outdoors, cuddling in bed, getting attention, going on walks. We are having to rehome her due to her going after our other dogs all of a sudden and we now have a baby in the home so it’s just not suitable! We would love to do a meet and greet and are hoping to find her a home as soon as possible. She is spayed, she has also had one of her toes amputated due to her trying to bust out of her crate and shattering it to the point they couldn’t repair so they amputated. She is utd on everything except her rabies she will need that done!
