Meet Arrow, a handsome four-year-old Border Collie mix who is looking for an active partner to keep up with his zest for life! This smart, neutered male is the ultimate "working dog" at heart and would thrive in a home where he has a specific job to do or a dedicated trail to hike every morning. While he is a total gentleman indoors—being both housetrained and kennel trained—his instinct to work is strong; he is wonderful with children but will occasionally try to "herd" them, so he’d do best with a family that understands his breed’s unique drive. Arrow prefers to be the star of the show and requires a cat-free home, and while he can be picky about his canine coworkers, he is a loyal companion ready to give his whole heart to the right leader.For more information, contact the City/County Animal Shelter at (307) 686-5249.
