Story
Pixie is a beautiful 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with one striking blue eye, one warm brown eye, and a whole lot of personality packed into that fluffy coat!At just a year old, Pixie is still a young girl with plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life. She’s looking for a family who will appreciate having an active, intelligent companion and give her plenty of opportunities to play, explore, learn, and be part of the fun.And this girl already has some pretty wonderful things going for her! Pixie has done well with both cats and other dogs, walks well on a leash, travels well, and is good with adults, seniors, and children over 5. That gives her the potential to fit into all kinds of families.Australian Shepherds are known for being smart, energetic, and incredibly devoted to their people, and Pixie is at such a great age to continue learning and growing alongside a family of her own. Whether it’s heading out for an adventure, learning something new, or simply being included in everyday life, we think Pixie would be happiest with people who want their dog to truly be part of the family.Pixie has already spent several weeks waiting at the shelter. She has so much life ahead of her, and we’d really love to see the next part of it begin in a home of her own.If this beautiful girl sounds like she might belong with you, please contact Lucky’s Place to learn more about Pixie or arrange to meet her. Please call 307-883-PETS to learn more or schedule a visit! Stop by Fridays & Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sundays & Mondays from 1 PM to 4 PM, or schedule an appointment.

Story
I’m a shaggy little sweetheart who loves being close to my people. I get along great with kids and other dogs, and I know my basic commands, so I’m already off to a good start. I do best in a calm home — loud or raised voices make me a bit unsure — but gentle words and steady routines help me feel safe and confident. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch or heading out for an adventure, I’m happiest right by your side. I get so excited to see my favorite people that I sometimes have little “happy leaks,” but I’m otherwise house trained and working on keeping all that joy inside. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be part of everything you do, I’d love to be your girl.
