Story

Roy is a 5 year old English Bulldog that we have had since he was 8 weeks old. He is a total sweet heart and always wants to please. He needs someone who can tend to his wrinkles and paws daily along with cleaning his ears. He doesn't have any issues with his tail. He loves kids and gets along with other dogs and cats. He is potty trained as we have a doggie door. I am looking for someone who can give him lots of love and attention and has plenty of time to spend with him. He can not be an outdoor dog as bulldogs don’t do well in the heat or extreme cold. He does enjoy going outside when the weather permits. I am only looking into rehoming him due to the fact that I don’t have the time to give him the attention he deserves as we are out of town often.

Meet Motto Motto Motto Motto is looking for his happily ever after ! He was rescued from a hoarder breeding situation where he was kept in deplorable conditions. He lived in a cage his whole life and has likely never been in a home. He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body but loves to play tug of war and is a major chomper when he gets excited, he loves to latch on to items and is still learning which items are ok for chomping and which aren’t, due to this behavior issue we are placing in a home with no small children. We are confident with an experienced family who has the patience to train him, this won’t be a major issue. He’s super smart and eager to learn, he’s so sweet and still shy when meeting new people. He is estimated to be about 4 or 5 years old but it’s hard to tell because they were in such bad shape when we got them. He is on a salmon food diet and will need to continue to be on that and he likely has never been in a house, so we don’t think that he will be potty trained. He does like other dogs and he super sweet when he meets new people. He is now fixed, microchipped, had a dental and fully vaccinated. Diesel has been apart of our family for three and half years. He is fun-loving, energetic, and a big AFOMO. He doesn't realize his own strength and sometimes knocks over little children when he tries to greet. He is clunky and clumsy. I have started a new position and am working and traveling a lot more while my husband and two sons are never home. Our 11 year old cheweenie is old and grumpy and just wants to be left alone.

Rocky is a sweet, affectionate, and devoted dog who wants nothing more than to be in the same room as his human. Where ever you go, he will follow. That's how much he attaches to you. He has a very sweet way of sitting, gazing into your eyes, and giving you his paw to let you know he'd like some attention and affection. You'll melt when he looks into your eyes with devotion. He get's very wiggly and excited to see you when you come home from work. You will feel so loved by him. Rocky loves sun bathing in the backyard and he gets oh so adorably excited when he thinks it's time for a car ride. The destination doesn't matter. It's the ride itself he longs for. He's always up for a ride. Like most bulldogs, he's not much of a walker. He prefers to take long naps throughout the day. If he doesn't want to continue walking, he will become stubborn. He's very food motivated, so training him is relatively easy. He still needs to work on "wait." Rocky loves the attention of humans. He doesn't care too much for the attention or company of other dogs. Rocky doesn't like it when i give my other dog attention and will attack. He will do best as the only dog in the home. He's not been in the company of cats, so that's TBD. He is very cooperative to bathe. He gets high marks from the groomers. But if you'd like to bathe him yourself, he'll be more than happy to comply. He's accustomed to sleeping in a crate at night, and is happy to have his own little space. But he does perfectly well sleeping on the floor without a crate. Medical: He gets a Cytopoint injection every 4-6 weeks to curb itching, irritated skin. I've tried all sorts of different dog foods, even hydrolyzed protein to eliminate the skin issues, but to no avail. His ears need frequent cleaning. October 26, 2024, 4:37 pm
