Demi is the Buddha of all dogs. She is calm, grounded, gentle and extremely loving to humans and dogs of all sizes and ages. She has not been tested with cats but so far does not show a high prey drive so she may be fine with them. She is housebroken, crate trained, is comfortable navigating all stairs, doesn't bark, doesn't jump up and is not interested in much physical exercise. After all she has been through she has earned the right to lounge. Demi thrives on affection. She will lay her big head in your lap and just lean in and soak up all the attention. She also loves to slump over and lay belly up for a good tummy rub. She is mouth gentle but cherishes her food so should always be fed separate as a precaution. The last month has been spent building up her immune system to prepare her for her future dual surgeries (spay and entropion) which will require her to wear the cone of shame for two weeks. The entropion surgery should help significantly with her eye issues, but she will need a pat of dry eye ointment in each eye two times a day forevermore to continue being the brown eyed beauty she is. She is an angel and just sits patiently while you tend to her. Due to her not being spayed yet Demi is available as a foster to adopt dog. Adoptions will be finalized after her spay is completed. Anybody or any family that adopts her is getting the best dog ever. She truly makes owning a dog easy. She's great for a laidback lifestyle and also for a first time dog owner. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group or private training to ensure a successful behavior. Meet Tank, a short, squishy-faced senior bulldog mix with a heart as big as his adorable blocky head. He’s a low-energy sweetheart who loves nothing more than curling up on the couch, taking naps, and soaking up all the affection he can get. Tank adores people—every single one of them—and he does the cutest little tippy tappies when he sees you have treats. He’s also wonderful with kids and would make a loving, gentle companion for a family. Tank prefers not to share his space with large dogs, though he may do well with small dogs after a slow introduction, and he may also be okay with dog-savvy cats. He rides calmly in the car and is about as easygoing as they come. He has been let down more times than any dog should endure. Tank was first placed on the euthanasia list at Manteca Shelter, then adopted, then rehomed, and eventually ended up at Stanislaus Shelter, where he again faced euthanasia. He went to a foster home but recently lost that placement through no fault of his own due to landlord issues, and he is now in boarding. Through every setback, Tank has remained gentle, loving, and hopeful. He’s ready for a calm, caring home where he can finally enjoy the stability and love he deserves. Meet Mongo! The beefcake English bulldog of Cat Crew is ready for his debut! He is just as charming as he is adorable! We scooped him up from the shelter with horrific skin issues, ear infections (stupid foxtails), eye infections, dehydrated, over heated, diarrhea and of course not neutered! We are guessing someone used him to breed for your Craigslist puppies but when he got too old he got dumped. We rushed him right to the vet for immediate care and he is healing beautifully! He is a senior boy at about 7 years old (they do not have the long lives we wish). He has dry eyes and will continue to need 2 eye drops daily, which is a very common bulldog issue. He is a very good boy and tolerates it just fine! Due to this going untreated for so long he is partially blind in one eye and completely blind in the other. But it truly doesn’t stop him from being your shadow in the garden or hopping on the couch! Bulldogs do also not tolerate the heat well so a cool climate or powerful AC is a must! He lives in a home with another dog and cats. He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body and everyone truly is his instant best friend! So if you’re committed to giving Mongo the best rest of his years with payment of wiggly nubby booty and the most gentle kisses- he is your guy! Mongo will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Mongo is about 7 years old.
