I was watching her for a breeder and he has stopped responding to me. I have kept her way longer than I anm allowed at my apartment and now I have a few days to find her a good home. She is a sweet, beautiful dog she has had puppies before as well. Not sure of her age. She is a calm, loving dog she has a lot of energy but is lazy time to time (she loves to hide in closets and under tables haha) she is great around kids. I only add the adoption fee to make sure she is going to a home that will value a great addition and care for her and give her loads of love. As she was abandoned by her family.

Some of our most heartfelt moments here at Satchel's is watching our animals come out of their shells to reveal their wonderful and different personalities. One of our most notable pups would be Miss Sicily. When she first arrived, Sicily kept her guard up, she was nervous and untrusting. She would let a select few staff members engage with her, but did not show affection and was more relieved when the interaction was over. Fast forward a few weeks, and we could see a small spark starting to show through, she was more willing to take treats from us and was more curious about going outside. She then found a lovely Woof Pack leader, Peg, who was willing to work with her on socializing and getting her to open up more. Soon she started jumping up on us when we went to clean her kennel, started giving us kisses and loved being rubbed all over. She started showing her silly side, playing with toys and goofing around. She was still nervous outside the kennel, and she still has moments when she is unsure about the environment, but her confidence has significantly grown since the day she first arrived. Sicily can still be a bit weary of men and tends to gravitate towards females, but we are so proud of the steps she has conquered and continues to, even today. She has shown us that the shyest of pups have a love for play and affection and sometimes it just takes patience and understanding to let their light shine through. Today, Sicily loves to go out with Peg in our back yard and run around, getting all her zoomies out and acting like a goofball. She loves to give hugs and kisses, getting belly rubs when she rolls over and just generally loves attention. This happy girl lives up to her name, a sassy personality indeed. Sassafras is a 7-year-old beauty, with a brilliant smile that brightens anyone's day. She is the life of the party and loves to be the center of attention. She can not wait to go outside and either go in the yards and sniff everything possible, or go on a brisk walk, leading the way. Sassy is protective of her space and loyal to her friends but will welcome new people into her circle with a slow introduction. She doesn't seem to mind the company of some canines, but we have found her to be selective and she would prefer to have the people all to herself. She adores toys and goes for the stuffed squeaky toys every time. She is very treat motivated, which is helpful in her learning of basic obedience. Curling up in a comfy bed or cuddled up with a friend is the best way to end her day. *Special Needs Penelope is a 17-week-old French Bulldog puppy who is both a lover and a spunky little girl. She is always happy about dinner time and never misses the opportunity for a treat. She is currently being fostered in a home with other dogs, cats and children. She is thriving with all of them. She loves toys, especially ones she can play tug of war with or that make crinkly noise. She's vocal when she's playing or excited to see her people but is otherwise very reserved. Penelope is a special girl, she was born with Spina Bifida, a rare congenital defect in dogs that occurs when the vertebrae of the spine fail to form normally during embryonic development. This is a lifelong condition that may potentially land her in a wheelchair. She was rescued with a set of wheels but does not need them at this time. She is completely urinary and fecal incontinent so she will not be able to be potty trained and will require a strict sanitary schedule. She is happy to wear her diapers but they do need to be changed often. She is a wonderful ball of energy and really the best puppy anyone could ask for.
