Story
Meet Bee, a 1-year-old Chinese Shar-Pei mix who was rescued as a stray in Miami and brought to Big Dog Ranch to find the loving home she deserves. With her striking features and bold personality, Bee is sure to turn heads—and steal hearts. Bee has a high energy level and needs an active, experienced adopter who understands the unique traits of her breed. Shar-Peis can be strong-willed and independent, and Bee is no exception. She’ll thrive in a home where structure, patience, and ongoing training are part of daily life. She would do best in an adult-only home with someone who has previous experience with both dogs and the Shar-Pei breed. Bee is dog-selective—she can coexist with another dog, but it must be the right match and handled with proper introductions. She’s not good with cats and not suited for a home with children, as she can be extremely mouthy and needs her space respected. Bee is still working on her housetraining and leash manners, but she’s smart and eager to learn, especially with a consistent routine and positive reinforcement. She knows basic commands, and once she trusts you, her affectionate side shines through. She absolutely loves to cuddle, splash in the water, and play with her favorite toys. If you’re a confident, experienced dog owner ready to invest the time and love Bee needs to thrive, she just might be the perfect fit for your home!

Story
MEET SHIFU: We can not say enough good things about this boy! BREED: Shifu came from Palm Beach Shelter. We were thrilled to save him. He is a purebred, meatmouth, chocolate dilute (which looks red or auburn, beautiful), brushcoat purebred Shar-Pei. Has the most beautiful corkscrew tail! HE IS A LOOKER! BASICS: He is fully vetted, neutered, utd in shots, on hw preventatives & microchipped. Shifu is housetrained, does not bark, is mannerly in the home, okay on leash, knows basic commands. THE GOOD STUFF: Shifu is highly intelligent. He learns very fast. Overall, he is eager to please, and will do so. But much like the breed he can have his own state of mind sometimes. He is inquisitive. Wants to see what’s up! He loves to be around his people but, is not a sitting on your lap kind of dog. He wants to be where you are but sitting in his own space checking everything out. He is good with other dogs. Good with kids near any age. He is learning to be good with cats. We’d say he is 80% there to just leave the kitty alone. He is friendly, silly, a little goofy which makes him funny and a lot of fun. He is a very easy dog. Playful but, in a chillax way. He loves exploring the yard with the other dogs. Just a wonderful addition to most any person or family. Transport is possible anywhere across the country where we have resources, please inquire. ARE YOU A MATCH♥️ FOR SHIFU?

Story
Meet Lovebug, a resilient 2-year-old Boxer mix was found as a stray in Miami-Dade County, severely emaciated and fighting to survive. When she arrived at Big Dog Ranch, she was weak and in desperate need of care—but despite everything she’d endured, she showed nothing but sweetness and a gentle soul. Now healthy and thriving, Lovebug is ready to give and receive all the affection she’s missed out on. She has a moderate energy level and enjoys a good balance of activity and relaxation. Whether it’s a short walk, some playtime with her favorite toys, or curling up for snuggles on the couch, Lovebug is happy just being with her people. Lovebug is good with other dogs, though she does require supervision due to her playful nature. She is also good with kids, but would be best suited in a home where interactions are monitored, as she continues to build her confidence and learn what to expect in a stable, loving environment. Lovebug would make a wonderful first dog for someone ready to open their heart and home. If you're looking for a dog who will reward your love tenfold and be your constant companion, Lovebug is waiting to meet you!

Meet Cosito, the bundle of energy with a heart as big as the ocean! Cosito is a spirited companion who's always ready for an adventure. Rescued and ready for his forever home, Cosito is eager to find a family who shares his love for fun and excitement. With his high energy level, Cosito is the perfect companion for those who enjoy an active lifestyle. He's a water enthusiast, making him the perfect companion for beach days or trips to the lake. Cosito also enjoys being pampered oh and potty training? dont even worry i already nailed that! But what truly sets Cosito apart is his spunky attitude always making others laugh and bring joy. Whether it's cuddling on the couch or going for a walk in the park, Cosito is happiest when he's by your side. Although Cosito is a lovable companion, he does have a tendency to jump fences, so a secure yard is a must for him. Cosito is also dog selective so proper introductions are a must. While Cosito is strong on the leash and reactive so cosito would do best with an experienced adopter who can give guidance and training, he'll become the perfect walking companion. Overall, Cosito is a spirited and lovable pup with a zest for life, ready to bring joy and excitement into the lives of his forever family, he would do best in a home with adults only as Cosito isnt the biggest fan of the littles he just needs some good guidance to show they arent so scary. Cosito is bursting with love for his right people and a gentle giant at heart so are you ready to welcome this adventurous companion into your home?
