Story
Norah is an amazing, loving, and caring English Bulldog. She is 4 years old, born December 8, 2021, and weighs approximately 55 pounds. We have always had English Bulldogs in our lives, and Norah has been a very important part of our family. We have had her since she was a little puppy, and she has been deeply loved throughout her life. She is currently on a medication for anxiety that is given with food once a day in the AM We believe Norah could do very well as the only dog in a home where she can receive plenty of attention and be the center of someone’s world. She is extremely affectionate and loving with people and absolutely loves attention. She has so much love to give, and we truly believe she could thrive in the right environment. Our hope is to find her a home where she can feel safe, loved, and happy while getting the individual attention she loves.

Story
Charlotte is a 3 year old pure bred English Bulldog.  She loves people after she has a little time to warm up to them.  She loves to cuddle and give kisses.  Charlotte is very smart and picks up on things and routine very quickly.  She needs a quieter home where she can truly be the best version of herself. Charlotte is housebroken, leash trained, and crate trained.  She knows a few commands (sit, down, come, heel).  She also is working on stay and "go to".  Training is onging for Charlotte and she's making progress.  The PERFECT Home for Charlotte Would probably be best as the only dog Would love to have a lap to sit on and someone to snuggle with Prefers women Someone who will help her work through her anxiety Fenced yard would be ideal Older kids (age 12+) Charlotte does live with other dogs right now, but she tends to become very excited and reactive to them at times.  She has her own space in a room away from others where she can relax and by herself.  She also would rather not share her toys. She tends to bark when she's scared or excited (or sometimes just a little excited urination).  Because she gets anxious at times, we think she might be better without little kids around. The suggested adoption donation for Charlotte is $400, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. To learn about Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue Inc. Please Note: A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we only assist the owner in finding a new home for their pet. From time to time, owners find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue, and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is unavailable for adoption. ##2806696##

Story
Pickles is currently being fostered in a home in Lomax, Il. She is working on housetraining and manners. I was told she is an English Bulldog but she looks like a micro bully. She is a sweet girl. She has bulldog mannerisms. She's a very happy go lucky dog. She comes when called and doesn't depend on a leash.

Story
BooPee came from a backyard breeder. It had taken so much out of her. She was underweight, her coat was thin, she had sores on her, and just didn't look happy at all. Now that raising puppies is no longer an issue she has opened up and is a happy, healthy girl. She loves to play and wants all of your attention. She is absolutely the sweetest dog now. Wants a family the will love her forever.

Story
Meet King – A Special Soul with So Much Love to Give King has been through more than his fair share since arriving at our shelter. After a series of tests, we discovered that King has a rare congenital condition called atresia ani—a narrowing of the anus that makes it difficult and uncomfortable for him to defecate. Because of this, King requires a home where he can be taken outside every 3–4 hours and receive daily medication along with a special diet to help manage his condition and keep him comfortable. On top of his medical needs, King prefers to be the only pet in the home—he's not a fan of other dogs, cats, or young children. But don’t let that fool you—King is full of love, personality, and playful energy. He adores deflated soccer balls and loves to run around proudly carrying them in his mouth. When he’s done playing, he’s just as happy to curl up beside you for snuggles and soak in all the affection you have to offer. King would thrive in a quiet, stable home—maybe with a retired couple or someone who’s home most of the day and has the heart and patience to care for a truly special boy. He’s been overlooked for far too long, but we know the right person is out there. Could you be the one to give King the love and comfort he so deeply deserves
