Winnie is a beautifully unique survivor. She is a one-eyed wonder with a permanent, soulful expression, a deeply worried brow, and a sweet body that shows exactly how hard she worked. Let’s be real: after years of over-nursing puppies, Winnie’s teats proudly drag the ground. She clears speed bumps with extreme caution, and her belly brushes the grass when she trots. But Winnie doesn't care about unrealistic beauty standards—she's a proud, saggy survivor, and we think every single wrinkle and stretch mark is a badge of her incredible resilience.
Her Vibe & Quirks:Despite everything she has been through, Winnie has zero bitterness in her soul. She has two speeds: immovable bulldog object and absolute face-licking machine. She can be stubborn as a mule when she wants to go in a different direction than requested, but the second you sit next to her, she will melt. She look at you with her one beautiful eye, and cover your face in wet, joyful, incredibly grateful kisses. She is making up for a lifetime of missed affection. When she's not encouraging snuggles, you can find her happily content with a good bone to chew on.
Logistics & Lifestyle:
-House Manners: Despite her past, Winnie is an absolute angel in the house. She is fully kennel trained and seems to be house-trained so far.
The Fan Club: She has a massive heart and is phenomenal with kids of all ages! She is doing well with other dogs, too. She is a bit too interested in cats, but frankly, her low-clearance mom-bod means the cats easily outrun her every single time.
Architecture: Multi-story homes might be a challenge. Stairs are questionable for her right now since her belly sits so close to the floor. She'd love a single-level home or a human happy to carry her.
Medical Status: Winnie will be getting spayed before adoption to officially cement her retirement status. She will never, ever have to be a mama again.
Perfect Match:Winnie needs an adopter who will laugh at her grunts, ignore her low-hanging belly, and show her that the rest of her life will be filled with safety, soft blankets, and endless love. She gave everything to her puppies; now, it's her turn to be someone's baby!
