Stop with all that cuteness! Theodore is working every doggone angle. He's got his little tongue out, the sleepy AND smushy face, plus his head on a shoulder. It's like we asked him to pose. Believe it or not, he's even cuter in person!
This, my friends, is Theodore, a five-year-old English Bulldog who was found as a stray before being taken in by Kansas City English Bulldog Rescue. He's staying with The Pet Connection for some training, and we're so excited to share what we know about this sweet guy with you!
Theodore adores other dogs. Like, really wants to be friends with them. But he most certainly doesn't want his dog friends to be in his food. That seems totally fair, right? He also seems okay with cats at a distance; we'll let you know how he does with closer encounters with our dog-friendly cats when Theodore is ready.
If you enjoy nice strolls in the neighborhood, Theodore would be a willing companion and is so good on leash. He does have a titch of the stranger danger, so he's not a fan of new people coming up and sticking their hands in his face, but with an appropriate introduction, he's just fine. He's a pretty smart cookie, and already knows some commands -- sit, down, shake -- and he likes his food, so learning more should be a breeze.
Now, you're probably wondering about his manners in the home? Theodore is housetrained! He also has an opinion about fashion trends. More specifically, he doesn't like covers on the couch and he will remove them every single time. So there you go -- decorating advice from your very own English Bulldog.
