Found as a stray near our Newark shelter, he took a ride down the Turnpike and is now happily waiting for his forever home here in Tinton Falls. We estimate this handsome guy to be about 4 years old. Chandler appears to be dog friendly with pups his size and absolutely adores every person he meets. Because he’s a big boy with lots of love to give, we’d recommend a home with older teens or adults. It's more common than people realize- dogs surrendered to a shelter "because we had a baby". It's hard for me to understand this having watched family members and other adopters be able to keep their dog after having a baby (or two or three). But, we could only step up and say YES when the person who fostered this dog three years ago came to us to say she was brought back to the shelter for this very reason and would we take her in rescue. Although Ramsey is a timid dog that takes time to warm up and trust after all she's been through, she is very good with dogs, cats and kids As sad as it is a timid dog stands little chance in a shelter environment. But, fortunately her previous foster, Dog Boarding at the Beach, reached out to the shelter to get her. Now she is back at daycare boarding and enjoying the playtime and special events offered to all their pups. Fully vetted, spayed and on preventatives. She is around four years old and although timid she is very sensitive to her human person and does take direction. She is housebroken and crates well when needed. Shes great with other dogs and loves playing and interaction at day care

Not longer useful to the breeder and given up. We just recently got her spayed and we are now working on an eye surgery as she has a condition called entropion which is scheduled this month. She loves her crate and is always in it with the door open as that is her safe and comfy place. she is housebroken but you have to push her outside. She just started to like to go outside.
