Carissima 's Story Meet Carissima Carissima is a 4-year-old English Bulldog with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and so much love to give. She arrived at the shelter as a stray, but she’s ready to leave that chapter of her life behind and start fresh with a family of her very own. This sweet, charming girl loves going for walks and enjoys getting out to explore. She can be quite strong on leash and likes to do a little pulling, but with patience, consistency, and positive training, Carissima has all the potential to become a wonderful walking companion. She’s looking for someone who will be willing to help her build her skills while celebrating all the progress she makes along the way. Carissima does have some boundaries when it comes to high-value items, such as bones, and she’ll need a family who understands and respects her space. For this reason, she would do best in a home without children under 10 who can understand and honor her boundaries. When it comes to other animals, Carissima can be around dogs, but she would much rather be the only dog in her home. She doesn’t have much patience for sharing her personal space with canine roommates, and we suspect cats may not be her favorite housemates either. What Carissima really wants is a person or family who will appreciate her for the special girl she is — loyal, funny, affectionate, and full of personality. Eeyore is a loving dog that needs a lot of attention. While he is house trained, he has not gotten the proper training that he needs. He cannot be left alone in the house as he will go for the trash or anything else he's not supposed to get into. Because of this he spends too much time in the cage while I am at work. Ideally he needs a home where someone is almost always home and with the time and finances to give him the training and attention he needs. He is not mean but a bit aggressive with his playfulness and has a lot of energy for a Bulldog. But to anyone willing to the challenge on of training him and giving him the attention he needs, they will get a loving dog who, when tuckered out after playing or walking, really likes to do nothing else but cuddle.
