BABY GIRL IS A SQUISHY FACED ENGLISH BULLDOG. SHE IS ESTIMATED TO BE AROUND 3 YEARS OLD BUT SHE MAY BE YOUNGER. SHE WAS RUNNING ALONE ON THE STREETS OF HOUSTON TX (IN JULY!) WHEN WE AGREED TO TAKE HER INTO OUR RESCUE, SHE WAS SCOOPED UP AND THANKS TO MANY VOLUNTEERS, DIVEN TO F.O.C.C.A.S. IN TN.SO NOTHING IS KNOWN ABOUT HER HISTORY BUT WE HAVE QUICKLY LEARNED A LOT THINGS ABOUT HER SINCE SHE HAS BEEN WITH US. SHE UIS AN OPEN BOOK. HER INTERACTIONS WITH ALL 14 VOLUNTEERS (STRANGERS TO HER) THAT DROVE HER TO TN HAD NOTHING BUT BUT SWEET, FUNNY AND HEART-WARMING STORIES ABOUT THEIR TIME WITH HER. HER FOSTER FAMILY HAVE NOTHING BUT POSITIVE THINGS TO SAY ABOUT HER. SHE HAS NOT BEEN TESTED WITH CATS BUT BEST GUESS IS SHE WOULD BE WAY TOO MUCH FOR THEM. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED BY HER FOSTER. SHE IS SELECTIVE WITH OTHER DOGS. SHE HASN'T STARTED A FIGHT OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT, BUT SHE IS DOMINEERING AT PLAY. SHE SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED WITH SMALL DOGS. WE WILL REQUIRE A MEET AND GREET WITH ANY POTENTIAL ADOPTER WITH THEIR CURRENT DOG(S) BEFORE ADOPTION WILL BE APPROVED. THIS MEANS IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE DRIVING AREA OF CROSSVILLE TN, WE CAN NOT ADOPT TO YOU IF YOU OWN OTHER PETS AND A MEET AND GREET IS NOT POSSIBLE. ALTHOUGH BABY GIRL HAS NOT BEEN TESTED WITH CHILDREN, ALL OF THE MANY VOLUNTEERS THAT HAVE INTERACTED WITH HER AGREE THAT SHE DOES NOT SHOW ANY SIGNS OF AGGRESSION OF DOMINATION WITHG HUMANS. Meet Tevya very shy and timid at first but then look out for the cuddles, he is neutered and up to date on the vaccines available for adoption only for approved homes This baby was taken in by a concerned person because he was wandering a neighborhood for a couple of weeks. Instead of turning him in to animal control, they did the responsible thing and had Tevya vetted while holding him until a rescue could take him in. Meet Mushi! Hey everybody, my name is Mushi! I'm so excited to meet you! Well, I'm excited to meet everybody. I'm an American Bulldog mix, and I was born right about 03/01/2022. My friends here at the shelter like to call me all kinds of goofy nicknames, like Mushy, Mushster, Mushmallow, and Mushiboy. I don't mind any of them, because that means I'm getting attention! Attention is one of my favorite things, after all. I do have lots of favorite things, though. Treats are my favorite, people are my favorite, toys are my favorite, running is my favorite, playing is my favorite... I could go on and on! I'm told my squishy cheeks and happy smile are irresistable, so only come meet me if you're prepared to fall in love! I really like other dogs, too, but I definitely have fun being the dog in charge. If you already have any other dogs, make sure you bring them to meet me so I can decide if they can hang with me. I think kids are great, but I really don't like being hugged or held, so only kids that understand my boundaries, please. Mushi is fully vetted, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $175. 1st Adopted fro A shelter a year ago. Daughter went off to college & father’s s work had him Traveling. Than, Scout was then chosen to be in the service dog program but only a couple months into the program, his handler was unable to complete training. Now, He is back. This time, we would like a fenced in yard and maybe some teenagers to play. Neutered. Microchipped & utd on vaccinations 3/2026. Scout has shown to be a good boy. He is crate trained, house broken and has shown no behavior issues while In Foster care. Loves playing ball! Enjoys spending most of this time outside weather premiting. Gets along well with other dogs but prefers younger female dogs. Does well with car rides. Would make a great family pet. Her ears bear the scars of being chained up somewhere with flies feasting on her ears. Bless her sweet heart! Her past has not scarred her beautiful sweet nature. Pauletta is so happy to be living in a cool and comfortable foster home. She is a sweet heart of a dog. She is gentle, responds well to commands, is leash trained, house trained and crate trained. She cannot help herself when she sees a cat, she wants to chase. She gets along with friendly male dogs. She is very gentle in her interactions with children.
