Meet Mushi! Hey everybody, my name is Mushi! I'm so excited to meet you! Well, I'm excited to meet everybody. I'm an American Bulldog mix, and I was born right about 03/01/2022. My friends here at the shelter like to call me all kinds of goofy nicknames, like Mushy, Mushster, Mushmallow, and Mushiboy. I don't mind any of them, because that means I'm getting attention! Attention is one of my favorite things, after all. I do have lots of favorite things, though. Treats are my favorite, people are my favorite, toys are my favorite, running is my favorite, playing is my favorite... I could go on and on! I'm told my squishy cheeks and happy smile are irresistable, so only come meet me if you're prepared to fall in love! I really like other dogs, too, but I definitely have fun being the dog in charge. If you already have any other dogs, make sure you bring them to meet me so I can decide if they can hang with me. f you are interested in a tough looking fellow, who in TRUTH is just a big squishy marshmallow guy..... let me introduce myself. My name is Argo and I've been at the shelter for a few months. I'd been a street guy for a while and lots of folks were concerned for my welfare and made FB posts. I found my way to Gene Record Park the same weekend and was picked up there. I LOVE to go for walks almost as much as I LOVE getting LOTS and LOTS of your attention. They've said they think I would become a couch potato.... not sure what that is, but if it comes with my person, then I'm down for giving it a try! I'm a VERY strong muscular fellow and would probably be ok with older children, but I get pretty enthusiastic and probably a bit overwhelming for a small child, but I'm willing to be trained. Adopted fro A shelter a year ago. Daughter went off to college & father’s s work has him Traveling. Scout was chosen to be in the service dog program but only a couple months into the program, his handler dropped out, leaving Scout needing a new owner/handler. He is currently back at Rustic Rover awaiting a family to call his own. Neutered. Chipped & utd on vaccinations, he has shown to be a good boy. He is crate trained, house broken and has shown no behavior issues while In Foster care. Loves playing ball! Enjoys spending most of this time outside weather premiting. Gets along well with other dogs but prefers younger girls to play. Does well in car rides. Would make a great family pet. Meet Leonidas!  What this handsome boy lacks in height he makes up for in personality. Leonidas is a sweet little guy, he's the most loveable bulldog mix. He came to us as a stray in mid August, but he has been friendly and loving from the start. He has the biggest personality, he loves to run around and play the day away. If he were a person, he would be an athlete for sure. Energetics aside, he is a total ham! Mr. Leo is one of the biggest lovers on the planet, he loves nothing more than getting good scratches all around his cheeks and under his chin. Belly rubs are his favorite past-time, and he would make a killer movie-night partner. Leo has gone through lots of training here with us too, he knows the 'sit' command like the back of his paw, and will also walk well on a leash for a confident handler. Unfortunately, on 08/30/2021, Leo was diagnosed with heartworms.This poor guy went through almost a year of treatments, but we are happy to announce that he is now heartworm negative and ready to find his forever home! Leonidas is also required to be the only other animal in the home since he does not get along with other animals, however he loves children! Leo is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped.
