Meet Pauletta: A Strong and Sweet Survivor Pauletta is a striking fawn and white English Bulldog pit mix with a heart as big as her muscles. At around 6 to 7 years old and weighing about 60 lbs, Pauletta is as strong as an ox—she’s got the power of a linebacker and could easily pull a grown man off his feet! Even a pinch collar doesn’t slow her down. Despite her strength, Pauletta is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. She adores massages and will happily relax by your side when given some love and attention. Pauletta’s story is one of resilience. She was confiscated as part of a cruelty case when she was just about a year old, but that hasn’t dimmed her spirit. Now, she’s ready for a forever home where she can be safe and loved. Because of her strong personality, Pauletta isn’t great with other dogs. She tends to be a bit of a bully, nudging them around as if to challenge them, so she’s best suited for a home where she can be the only pet. Due to her strength and temperament, she should be exercised in a backyard rather than on the street. Meet Dixie 💕 Dixie is a super cute, fun, and quirky French Bulldog who is just a little over a year old. She has a big personality packed into a small, squishy body and loves making people smile. Dixie has lived in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids, and she gets along wonderfully with everyone—she’s truly a social little lady. Dixie is a sweet girl who enjoys going for walks to explore the world and is just as happy curling up for cuddles afterward. She loves being close to her people and thrives on attention and affection. Because Dixie is a French Bulldog, it’s important to understand that this breed comes with specific care needs. Frenchies can be a high-maintenance breed, requiring attentive care for things like breathing, skin folds, temperature sensitivity, and overall health. While Dixie is mostly potty trained, she will occasionally use pee pads in the house. She can be a little princess and sometimes prefers her pads to going outside. Her amazing foster family has been working with her! For these reasons, priority will be given to a family with French Bulldog or similar breed experience, as well as a family who has the patience, time, commitment, and financial means to properly care for her. We expect to receive many applications for Dixie. All applications must be fully completed and are first reviewed by our board. We also conduct vet checks and personal reference checks as part of our adoption process. With the holidays approaching, it may take us a bit longer to sort through applications, so we kindly ask for your patience. We will reach out if your application is selected to move forward. Hello her name is Dutchess she's 2 years old and is a really sweet girl. She was originally a rescue I found off the street in my city right after I moved into my new home of 2 weeks. Well a few weeks turned into a few years but unfortunately due to some financial issues I can no longer keep up with her needs anymore. I will provide her with all of her items including her crate, toys, shampoo, etc. she's the sweetest baby who loves hugs and VERY affectionate. Loves to run and play with you. She love attention and will love you. I just want someone to love her as much I love her. And to whomever is interested in taking her I just hope she receives all the love and hugs that she deserves that I wish I could continue giving her.
