DNA results are in for Tater and he is 61% Bulldog along with small percentages of 12 other breeds. Tater is a loyal, loving dog who’s happiest just being near his people. He is fantastic with kids and forms strong bonds with his people. Tater enjoys daily walks and does well on a leash. He’s potty trained, kennel trained, and has full run of his foster home because he’s respectful and non-destructive. He’s an easy dog to live with and loves a calm routine where he can relax and spend time with his humans. Tater would do best as the only pet, as he can be selective with other dogs. Tater is 5½ years old and weighs 55 lbs. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who would happily follow you from room to room, settle in beside you on the sofa, and never turn down a snack, Samwise may be your guy. 3 year old Samwise is a sweet, affectionate bulldog who absolutely loves people. He seeks out attention from just about everyone he meets and is happiest when he’s close to his humans. He’s also dog and kid friendly! With other dogs, Samwise enjoys some light play, but he’s just as happy simply hanging out in their company. He hasn’t met any cats yet, but we haven’t seen anything that raises concerns. IMPORTANT: We are looking for an experienced dog owner who has experience with this breed or similar smooshy-faced breeds. You must be able to pass a vet reference on current or previous pets showing they were spayed/neutered, kept up with vaccinations and heartworm prevention, and followed the medical advice of the veterinarian. Samwise has never met a treat he didn’t like. Seriously. Snacks are one of his love languages. He also enjoys toys, although he has his own unique approach to playtime: he prefers to carry them around and then carefully build a little toy collection in his kennel. Samwise enjoys a little time soaking up the sunshine. And by “a little,” we mean very little. He’s a bulldog, after all. A few minutes of sunbathing is plenty before he’s ready to head back inside. Samwise is kennel trained and potty trained, and like many bulldogs, he does have some daily maintenance to keep him feeling his best. He needs daily eye drops and regular cleaning and drying of his face and neck folds. It’s a small part of the routine that helps this handsome guy stay comfortable and healthy. He does experience interdigital cyst on his paws that come and go, this is also very common for his breed. These have been well managed with cortisone cream. Although Samwise is just the cutest little (44 pounds) bulldog you’ve ever seen, we are hoping to find an adopter who has some experience with his breed. Buddy was found and a good Samaritan is fostering him for us. He is about two years old. He has such a wonderful, friendly personality. He's clearly been an indoor dog, as he's very comfortable and affectionate.. Regarding other dogs, he's actually fantastic with her five dogs. Buddy is amazing at reading other dogs, and gives the foster's older dog the space that she needs. As for kids, the foster doesn't have any, however; given how gentle and loving he is with everyone he meets, we truly believe he'd be absolutely wonderful with children. He just seems to adore people! of all kinds and sizes! Buddy,with a heart as big as his paws and a face that looks permanently unimpressed—but don’t be fooled. Beneath that sturdy, low-to-the-ground build is a total sweetheart. Buddy is a champion nap-taker, an expert snacker, and a loyal companion who takes his job as best friend very seriously. He loves slow walks where he can stop to inspect everything, belly rubs on demand, and being exactly where his people are at all times. Buddy may not move fast, but he lives life with purpose—especially when treats are involved. Equal parts tough-looking and tender-hearted, Buddy proves that true charm comes with a little drool and a lot of love He's already really good with kennel training, which is a huge bonus!
