**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Hi there, I'm Prima! I was originally found hiding in some hay at a local park within the Corridor. When my rescuers found me they knew I was in critical condition. After recovering in the ER I found myself a foster home with both children and 3 other dogs of all sizes. It didn't take long for them to find out that I absolutely adore people and other dogs! I don't mind sharing my bed or my toys as long as there is someone around to keep me company. Although my foster family has exhausted all resources to treat my heartworm disease, I may not find complete treatment at this stage in the disease. While I wish I could live free from heartworms, I am happy and healthy otherwise. I just hope there is a family out there who will love me for as long as my spirits are high. Heff is very sweet and makes friends everywhere he goes. Even though he is currently living with a a cat and dog, he is very protective of his food, which is why it is preferred he is the only pet in the household. He does well with older children (7or older). He prefers to be indoors, where he can lay around and relax, after he does a few laps around the house looking for food. Gordo is 7 almost 8 years old and he is a purebred English Bulldog. He is very sweet and makes a great companion, doesn't do too well with small children (he tends to bark at them). We chose the name Gordo because generally bulldogs are chubby/fat and Gordo is Spanish means chubby/fat. He loves watermelon. He has something known as a "Cherry eye" on his left eye, it's commonly found on English Bulldogs, and can be surgically removed. Gordo is not neutered. He sheds like any other dog, easy to bathe. He has a strange addiction to water, careful not to give him too much because he will throw it up. He knows when you're feeling sad or down, he goes to up to you and rests his head on your knee. He likes to follow you around the house. We'll be making a big move and can't take him due to multiple reasons. Whom ever Gordo is rehomed to we simply ask for you to treat him well, his an older dog so he's pretty calm.

Greetings to all, My name is Jill, I am here to tell you a bit about myself. I had a rough start trying to get up that hill and fortunately tumbled into rescue. I was found in a crate alongside a bayou in the middle of August in Houston. I will never forget that day when a kind lady spotted me and took me in. I would have never survived. No more sad stories for me. It’s all up hill for Jill!! I am roughly seven years young. My recovery included cherry eye removal, getting spayed, getting up to date on shots, and testing for heartworm negative. My nice lady also noticed I had a slight bulge in her eye. The Dr. diagnosed it as Glaucoma and Due to the pain and discomfort it caused me they removed my eye. I am seeking a forever companion to call my own. I am very loving, playful and spunky.
