Story
My name is Junebug.   I am around 5-6 years old and am a bulldog or maybe a bulldog mix. My favorite activities are lounging, eating, and belly rubs!  Although I’m 65 pounds, I would love nothing more than to sit in your lap and stream your favorite show!  I love snuggles and would prefer to be the only dog in the home receiving them.  I’m a sweet, goofy girl that loves a routine.  At times,  I can get over-excited but I’m easily corrected. I can also be a little bossy so someone who has dog experience and can properly correct me would be good.  A home with adults only would be the ideal fit for me. I’ve been with Scouts Honor for a long while and truly deserve a forever home!    Scout's Honor Rescue is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill TX shelters. EIN # is 87-0773073 Follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/scoutshonorrescue or Instagram at www.instagram.com/scoutshonorrescue We have multiple ways to donate: Venmo:  @ScoutsHonor-Rescue Paypal: www.paypal.me/scoutshonorrescue   https://scoutshonor.org/take-action/donate/ We are strictly volunteer based, no salaries are paid and 100% of donations go towards rescuing dogs March 8, 2026, 9:28 pm

Story
Dracula is an 8-month-old male English Bulldog puppy. He is not neutered yet.His shots are current through November. I do not have the physical records, but I have a photo showing when he is due for his next shots. He is mostly housetrained and knows to go outside, but has puppy tendencies and should not be left unsupervised. He is crate trained; he may whine sometimes, but sleeps or chews his bone in the crate. He also has a couple of shaved areas from hot spots but has finished all rounds of his allergy medications and is completely healed.Dracula is a very good dog—sweet, loving, and deserving of a wonderful home. He comes with his crate, a food bowl, a water bowl, dog toys, and additional supplies to help his new family get settled. We are also open to reasonable negotiation on the adoption fee. We are rehoming him because a family member is allergic, and we did not know. Not intended for breeding.

Story
Bear is a 10-month-old Labrador Retriever mix weighing 53 pounds who is full of love, personality, and youthful enthusiasm. This handsome boy is incredibly sweet and friendly, and he gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children. Bear has never shown aggression toward people or other animals and truly enjoys being around everyone. He loves making new friends and is happiest when he has company, whether that's his human family or canine companions. As a young Lab mix, Bear has plenty of energy and can be quite rambunctious when he's excited. He loves to run, play, and burn off energy, so his future family should be prepared to provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. A home with another playful dog is highly preferred, or a doggy daycare would be an excellent outlet for him to help keep him happy and engaged. Bear is house-trained but he is not yet crate trained. While Bear is comfortable and relaxed with his trusted caregiver, he can become protective of his food around other dogs, therefore he must be fed separately in a multi-dog home. This behavior is limited to feeding situations only if another dog is trying to come near his food bowl while he is eating, and he is otherwise a loving, social dog with extreme attachment toward people or animals. Bear is looking for an active family that understands he's still very much a puppy at heart. With proper exercise, structure, and love, he will reward his family with endless affection, loyalty, and entertainment. If you're searching for a fun, social, affectionate companion who will happily join you on all of life's adventures, Bear may be the perfect match for you. Bear is currently being fostered in Texas but is able to go to anywhere in the States and even in Canada to the right home. Transport can be arranged for approved adopters. Yards MUST BE adequately and fully and adequately fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Bear currently weighs about 53 lbs and is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and kept on heartworm and flea prevention. To meet this amazing pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Bear's adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, and a fitting Harness. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.
