ALL ANIMALS MUST BE SPAYED/NEUTERED BEFORE ADOPTION. Before you click "Apply for Adoption," understand that it only serves as an adoption inquiry and pre-screening form. A response is not guaranteed and a meet-and-greet with the animal is still required, so we recommend you to come in person during business hours to inquire about available pets. We adopt animals on a first-come-first-served basis. If the animal is listed on our website, the animal is still available, so we urge you to come during business hours for a meet-and-greet! Please stop by for a meet-and-greet to make sure the dog is a good fit for you. We always encourage you to bring along any fur family members that you may have some concerns about to the meet-and-greet, so nobody is surprised that there is an unwelcome guest in their home! You DO NOT have to schedule an appointment for a meet-and-greet. Animals are adopted on a first-come-first served basis. Just stop by anytime during our hours which are TUESDAYS 11-4 WEDNESDAYS 10-2 THURSDAYS 10-2 FRIDAYS 11-4 SATURDAYS 10-2 CLOSED SUN & MON Our dog adoption fees are $120, which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and first round of age-appropriate vaccines. After the initial meet-and-greet, you will place a $30 deposit which ensures that the dog will be adopted by YOU! This comes off of the total adoption price, leaving your remaining fee of $90 to pay when you pick-up after the neuter. If you have any questions about the specifics of any pup listed, please reach out to us and we will answer them to the best of our ability. We typically do not have any background history on the animals that come to us as far as previous medical history, whether they are potty-trained, etc. We may not know the animals' pasts here, but we try to re-write their future by finding loving homes for them!

Did you ever want a lab that wasn't a labby lab? Or a Coonhound that wasn't quite so big? Or a beagle that wasn't quite so small?! River is the girl for you! River weighs 55lbs and looks like a (medium-ish) hound. She sounds like a (large-ish) hound even. But she, is SO much more than just a hound! River loves to play fetch and will happily let you throw a ball her way for as long as you are willing to do so.  River is crate trained and potty trained and walks well on a leash. She LOVES to play fetch and seems utterly ambivalent to dogs. She's happy to be friends, or just aquaintences. River is kid friendly, has never met a person she doesn't like, and is up for any adventure! You can bathe her, clip her nails and expect her to cooperate at the vet. She is not particularly a fan of cats. They move a bit too fast and are too fun to chase.  River is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and had a vet well visit. Dory has some mild anxiety around storms and fireworks, but is happy to snuggle up under a blanket and ostrich her way through it. She is fine in the car. Her adoption fee is $175.
