Story
Bella is a very sweet, loveable dog. She truly is the best. It hurts my heart to have to get rid of her but I have a 9 year in travel ball, I have newborn daughter, and I have job that requires long hours. I just do not have the time to love her like she should be loved. I have never had any issues out of here as far as aggressiveness or anything to that nature. She loves both my kids. She just wants to play and be loved. I have brought her in the house and she just lays down but she is not house trained as she in an outdoor dog and I would just let her out and come back inside.

These pups are in Charlotte, North Carolina too!

Story
My name is Winnie and I am a loving 7 year old, 50 pound girl that is a beautiful Hound breed called a Tree Walker.   I was found as a stray in the middle of a rural highway and I am such a soft and gentle girl that loves to lay around and sleep and just be an easy couch potato friend. I am housebroken, love a good tummy rub, pretty nice to all other dogs that I meet and I would be a great companion to a senior, retired person or couple who are looking for an easy dog to love.  I am healthy and spayed and microchipped and I am told that I am pretty, too.  Would you like to have a sweet companion for the next 7-8 years.  I will be happy to make your life so much more special if you invite me home.  Critter Cavalry Rescue is ready to help you adopt me if you write to them at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 27, 2024, 1:06 pm

Story
Please contact foster parent at ebogart@winstead.comFive-year-old Kash is a happy go-lucky treeing walker coonhound mix. Kash is crate-trained, potty-trained and dog and cat friendly! He equally enjoys going for walks and chilling on the couch. While Kash is heartworm positive, he was treated for heartworms and received his last heartworm injection on February 29, 2024. Due to the injections he is currently on crate-rest until mid-April. Afterwards, he will be excited to resume walks and playtime with other furry friends. During his foster stay, he has lost a few pounds and is on his way to a healthy weight. If you are looking for a chill best friend who is up for some weekend adventures, Kash is your guy!

Story
Katharina is a is 4 -year-old Coonhound mix of something who currently weighs around 75 pounds. Katharina is fully vetted, crate trained and ready for her furever home. Katharina is not a typical Coonhound, as she prefers to be a stay-at-home dog, laying in or on your lap the whole day and then next to or on your bed with you! Katharina doesn’t enjoy leaving home, but she loves other dogs, in the home. She will make a great companion dog and due to this would prefer a home with a fenced in yard so she can be let out to do her business and roam a bit and come right back in! In her foster home Katharina has met many different types of dogs of all sizes and ages and she welcomes them in with no issues and shows them the rope! As for children, Katharina has done well with them, but we are noticing she would prefer older kids. If you are interested in adopting Katharina, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. ***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.*** April 27, 2024, 4:07 pm
