Meet Elmer! If you`re looking for a sweet hound companion, you`ve found him! Elmer walks well on a leash and really enjoys walking on trails. No surprise, he leads with his nose and is in heaven when you let him take his time to sniff and explore. He is picky about his treats and would rather take them from the ground than your hand. Elmer is playful and loves to chase after squeaky toys and tennis balls. He likes to play fetch but may sometimes forget to give back the toy. He may come off as aloof before he knows you, but will be curled up next to you on your couch in no time. Elmer is a great choice for any family. Come in and meet him today!

Meet Luca! Luca is a wonderful dog who has just the perfect balance of chill and play. He currently lives with 2 other dogs in his foster home. Luca is great in the car and enjoys rides, walks and his chew bones. Luca does need two 20 minute walks a day. He walks really well on a leash with regular stops for hound sniffing! Luca is a great communicator. He lets you know what he wants when he wants it and is extremely happy with himself when he gets his point across. He does have the most enthusiastic and spirited howl to let you know if you are taking too long to get his food in the bowl or talking to someone else too long on his walks 😂 Luca will scratch on the door when he wants to go in and out or is known to dump the leash and toy baskets on the floor to let you know it’s time to go! His foster has learned to keep counters clear for he does have a great sense of smell with a body that can reach great distances. He LOVES attention and has a VERY sweet temperament! Luca is such a great dog you just can’t help but fall in love with him. Meet Dash! This lovely & handsome Coonhound mix is hoping to be the newest member of your family! Dash does have some history of being protective over food(resource guarding), so he will require any children in the home to be at least 10 or older. Do to similar reasons, he will have to meet any other dogs in the home prior to adoption. Please remember to do any introductions with either people or animals slowly! Again, Dash is a hound mix & they are a breed known to be quite loud/vocal, so we do not recommend that he goes home to somewhere that shares walls(this is not a requirement). Lasty, Dash is a very spry, interactive, & curious dog who would love nothing more than to find his forever home! If you have any questions about Dash, resource guarding, or anything else, please talk to our kennel staff & they will be happy to assist!
