Meet Elmer! If you`re looking for a sweet hound companion, you`ve found him! Elmer walks well on a leash and really enjoys walking on trails. No surprise, he leads with his nose and is in heaven when you let him take his time to sniff and explore. He is picky about his treats and would rather take them from the ground than your hand. Elmer has shown some interest in toys and would likely enjoy them once he`s settled into a home environment. He may come off as aloof before he knows you, but will be curled up next to you on your couch in no time. Elmer is a great choice for any family. Come in and meet him today!

Meet Luca! Luca is a wonderful dog who has just the perfect balance of chill and play. He currently lives with 2 other dogs in his foster home. Luca is great in the car and enjoys rides, walks and his chew bones. Luca does need two 20 minute walks a day. He walks really well on a leash with regular stops for hound sniffing! Luca is a great communicator. He lets you know what he wants when he wants it and is extremely happy with himself when he gets his point across. He does have the most enthusiastic and spirited howl to let you know if you are taking too long to get his food in the bowl or talking to someone else too long on his walks 😂 Luca will scratch on the door when he wants to go in and out or is known to dump the leash and toy baskets on the floor to let you know it’s time to go! His foster has learned to keep counters clear for he does have a great sense of smell with a body that can reach great distances. He LOVES attention and has a VERY sweet temperament! Luca is such a great dog you just can’t help but fall in love with him. Watson - ID # 46601 5 year old male Bloodhound, weighs 81 lbs. Watson is a big, floppy, drooly, lovable boy! As per most bloodhounds, it’s nose to the ground when he’s outside. Inside, he loves attention and giving slobbery kisses.

Story
Toby is an incredibly energetic five years old walker. He gets along with other dogs but does not like being approached by other dogs while on a leash. He tolerates children but doesn’t like to be bothered when he’s sleeping and doesn’t like being climbed on by small children. He understands basic commands but when he locks on to a scent, he tends to “go deaf”. He is very loving and food motivated. The reason we are re-homing is because of his level of energy with a newborn baby in the house. He is a jumper which does not work well with a new baby. This is a very difficult decision to make but it’s for the best for Toby.
