Thank goodness he did, because we can honestly say: you won’t find a more amazing dog!   Brody is about 45 pounds (may fill out closer to 50), and seems to be an Australian Shepherd mix with a bit of that Bernese Mountain Dog look—just in a more manageable size.   He’s: Neutered and fully vetted House-trained and crate-trained Excellent on leash Great with other dogs Loving, gentle, and playful   There’s truly nothing “wrong” with this boy—he’s the full package: sweet, smart, loyal, and ready to be your best friend. Meet Joel...an extremely sweet, gentle and loving boy rescued from Devore Shelter.  I can't believe nobody adopted this boy, but when he became urgent, we swooped in to rescue him before it was too late.  Joel is just a puppy...he's playful, eager to please and has a wonderful disposition.  He is sweet and playful with all dogs he meets.  Joel is house-trained and we are working on crate training.  Joel needs a little encouragement still on a leash, but we are working on that too.  This boy is eager to please, so he will be so easy to train!  He is gorgeous and a love and deserves a wonderful, loving home.  Joel is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies).  Joel's adoption fee is $450.  For more information on Joel, please call Krissy at (949) 456-7032 or to fill out an application for adoption, visit www.greendogfoundation.org and thank you for looking to rescue!October 20, 2025, 8:03 pm
