We are looking for a new forever home for our sweet girl Hazel. She is the sweetest girl, but unfortunately, she and our other female dog are no longer getting along to the point that they can not physically be around each other in anyway. Hazel is approximately two years old, spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations, 59% English Shepard + a mix of Rottweiler/Pit She is good with cats, never been around young kids, and needs to be an only dog. She loves to run around a fenced yard, go on walks, loves car rides, Housetrained but does not care for the kennel Very scared of thunderstorms and has anxiety at times (has a script for Trazadone to help with anxiety) Needs an adopter that is patient with her while she warms up to you, she will growl at first b/c of nerves. She may get along with other male dogs but would be best as an only dog. She sleeps in bed with us or her bed and loves cuddles. Screening through Found A Hound Rescue (no fee if approved) She needs a hero!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Snickers is a resident in the Campbell County (TN) Animal Center, and the staff at the Center are seeking a foster or permanent home for him, as he is stressed in the shelter environment.   If you are interested in Snickers, please contact the Animal Center through their website or at the phone number given below.  Here is what they say about Snickers, a young BC/Aussie mix: Do you need a little Snickers in your life?? A yummy nougat encased in creamy chocolate to “make you feel you” as the famous advertisement states. This wonderful boy is a Aussie border collie mix. He is approximately 3 years old and weighs 60 pounds. Snickers has the kindest eyes that will melt your heart. To be honest he is struggling in the shelter. Although he is safe, knows he has delicious meals served daily and daily walks he would benefit greatly being in a foster or permanent home. Snickers is a fluffy black and white male, with white front legs and black back legs. He is very smart and is craving to be mentally and physically challenged. His breed mix desires to be trained, given commands and lots of mental stimulus. The shelter is a very loud and is over capacity so he is fearful of his current situation. Each day he improves and when he goes outside for his walks he does a cute little trot of a dance to celebrate. Snickers tail is the short stub that wiggles when he is outside smelling everything Mother Nature has to offer. So what does Snickers need?? A loving patient family that will allow him to relax and trust humans. He would enjoy a bubble bath and a nice brushing to make his black and white coat shine. Snickers is food motivated so his training will be fun and engaging for his new partner. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Spirit is a young Border Collie who was adopted recently by her current owner from what that owner describes as 'a bad situation.'  Her owner says Spirit is a lovely dog but is not fitting in with the resident dogs in her current home, and so is available for adoption. While Spirit and the resident dogs in her current home do not get along, this does not mean that Spirit will react negatively to all dogs in general; however, a potential owner should be aware of this and that Spirit may want to be an only dog in her home.  She is accepting of adults and older children, but will chase cats if the opportunity arises.  Since Spirit is living in Kentucky and is not being kept on heartworm preventive, she will need to be tested for heartworm and a potential owner should make this a priority. Spirit's current owner says that she is a 'Shy loving border collie that needs someone who knows how to work with them. Might not like other dogs.'
