Story
We are looking to rehome our beautiful 8 year old female dog, Luna. Based on her looks and behavior traits, we believe she is a border collie mix, but we have never DNA tested her so we can’t confirm her breed. We have had Luna since she was 12 weeks old. She is a loyal, energetic, very smart and loving dog. She has been the greatest companion to my wife and I over the years. We are heartbroken to need to rehome her, but unfortunately she hasn’t adjusted well to our son since having him about 2 years ago and we can’t risk something bad happening between them. Luna is up to date with all her shots and has no known health concerns. She would do well with someone who has the time and patience to continue to train her and give her the opportunity to be active every day. A home without other dogs or children would be best. Luna is a part of our family and is so deeply loved. I hope we can find her a home that will love and care for her as we always have.

Story
ATTENTION: KENNEL STAFF WILL BE TAKING APPLICATIONS ON ME AND PICKING THE MOST APPROPRIATE HOME.Hello, my name is Zola. I came to the Berkshire Humane Society because I was not doing well with the other dog in the home. I am very scared and tentative of new people, so it might take a couple meet and greets with me before I am comfortable with you. But once we are friends I am an EXTREMELY active gal! I am not a couch potato and don't want to be inside all day. I want to be out running, hiking, walking, or jogging. So, if you are looking for an adventure buddy, I'm the girl for you. I love to go outside on my walks and romp around the pen. Because of my nervousness with new people I will need continued work, especially if any visitors come to the home, on being properly introduced to show me they aren't so scary. I am fully housetrained and need to be in an adult only home with no other animals. What can I say? I like being the queen of my castle! If you would like more information about me and how to potentially adopt me, please contact the kennel staff at (413) 447-7878 ext.126.Weight: 30
