Story
Hey! I’m Fava Bean. I’m one of the 3 Bean Sisters, oh, and we have a brother too! A very nice person found me and siblings on the streets of Texas. We think that we are some kind of border collie mix, probably will end up being around 50-60 lbs when we are fully grown up. Right now, we’re only around 4 months, so we still have some growing to do! I’m the smallest of the four of us, by my ears are the biggest! We are right off of the streets, so I am still very shy and nervous still. My nerves will get better once I find my forever family, and I feel more confident. I’ve got super ears, so I will be able to listen while I learn with my new family! I cannot wait to keep working on my potty training, crate training, and tricks! I love playing with my siblings, and I’m doing great with dogs! I would love to learn how to walk on a leash so I can go on more adventures too! Story
Meet Denny: Your Future Best Friend and Couch Companion! Are you searching for a gentle soul to share quiet moments and cozy evenings with? Meet Denny, a beautiful 3-year-old Border Collie mix with a heart full of love and a sweet, calm spirit. About Denny Denny is a medium-sized girl with the classic, intelligent eyes of a Border Collie. At three years old, she has moved past the puppy stage and is ready to settle into a loving home where she can truly blossom. Her shy nature means she might take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she'll be your most loyal and affectionate friend. Personality & Temperament Denny is the definition of a gentle companion. She's a sweet, quiet dog who prefers a calm environment. She is making great progress with her basic training and is already house-trained, making her transition into a new home that much smoother. One of Denny's best qualities is her ability to get along with everyone. She loves the company of other dogs and is also cat-friendly, making her an easy addition to a home with existing pets. Her favorite activity is simply being near her people, and she would be overjoyed to find someone looking for the perfect couch companion to cuddle with after a long day. Ideal Home Denny would thrive in a patient and understanding home that can give her the time she needs to come out of her shell. She is looking for a person or family who wants a loving, low-key friend to share their life with. Because of her shy personality, a calm household would be the best fit for her. If you’re ready to open your heart to a wonderfully sweet and gentle dog, Denny is waiting to meet you. She promises to repay your kindness with endless affection and quiet companionship. **I am currently out in foster with one of the Berkshire Humane Society Family Dog School training staff - if you are interested in meeting me, please call the kennel staff at (413) 447-7878 ext.126**- Blue Heeler/German Shepherd/Husky Mix - Fearful - no kids, teens+- Can climb out of ex-pens and attempted to leave the evaluation area several times - Moderately social with humans and relatively confident in exploring but will quickly go from exploring to fear if he startles himself - Not a good candidate for children, needs a quieter home with a family willing to put some time into gaining his trust - He will work for treats and came out of his shell for the evaluation - He is more social with the support of his brothers and might be best going home with an adult dog already in the home - Remarkably tolerant of handling - Almost cat-like in his interactions - Moderate energyDogs: Yes, would be best in a home with another adult dogCats: A dog savvy cat would be okayKids: Teens+
