  Meet Hazel, a truly special girl with both beauty and brilliance wrapped into one stunning package. This gorgeous 2-year-old, 75-pound English Shepherd mix was found as a stray in a neighborhood, and sadly, no one ever came looking for her. Their loss is about to be someone else’s greatest gift.   Hazel is a head-turner with her soft, long fur and graceful presence — but it’s her spirit that really shines. She’s full of joyful, puppy-like energy and loves nothing more than zooming around the yard with a toy proudly carried in her mouth. Watching her play is pure happiness.   This girl is incredibly intelligent, the kind of dog who thrives when given guidance and purpose. She wants to learn, wants to grow, and has all the potential to become the confident, well-trained QUEEN she was meant to be. Training her won’t feel like work — it will feel like bonding.   Hazel is crate trained, housebroken, wonderful with cats, great with other dogs, and loves people of all ages.                                                                              KENNEL ID #18804 Sidney and his sister Cookie were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some were strays never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list. Each has now received full veterinary care and is preparing for a fresh start in PA. Despite their past, these dogs are full of hope and heart. Could this survivor be your new best friend?                                                                              KENNEL ID #18804 Meet Molly, Molly is a beautiful, energetic young girl weighing approximately 40 pounds and is likely an Australian Kelpie mix (best guess). She is around 1 year old and full of potential. Molly was found abandoned at a church, where a kind neighbor stepped in to give her a flea bath and make sure she was fed. When she came into rescue, she was in heat and was spayed right away. She does great with structure and routine. Molly sleeps inside a kennel overnight with no accidents, uses a dog door confidently, and is kenneled next to another dog. While they may bark at each other at times, there is no aggression. Because of her youthful energy and Australian Kelpie breed traits. This breed is known for being absolutely a brilliant, high-energy dogs were bred for herding in the rugged Australian outback - and it shows!* Kelpie Highlights: Super Smart - Quick learners and love a challenge. High Energy - Always ready to go, go, go! Great for an active family. Molly would do best in a home with older children. She walks nicely on leash and actually seems calmer when leashed. She already knows how to sit on command, is very smart, and is highly trainable—she’s going to thrive with continued guidance and enrichment. Freya was adopted from us as a puppy and recently returned to us. Apparently she did not get along well with their other dog. She does need to be spayed and will be before going to her new home. She has a lot of energy and would benefit from having a fenced yard and/or an active family. She is microchipped, up to date on vaccines and current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
