Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Sidney and his sister Cookie were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some were strays never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list. Each has now received full veterinary care and is preparing for a fresh start in PA. Despite their past, these dogs are full of hope and heart. Could this survivor be your new best friend? Sidney is hanging out with his rescuer and foster mom, Carol, in Tennessee. If you have any questions, please email her at abandonedangelsinc@gmail.com. Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Mason is a gentle, sensitive soul who’s learning that the world can be kind again. He’s currently in a foster home in Tennessee with his brother, Monty, and does well with other dogs. Mason is still shy with people—especially men—which is completely understandable given his past. Life on the streets followed by a stay in a high-kill shelter taught him to be cautious, but despite everything he’s been through, Mason has never shown aggression. With patience, consistency, and love, Mason continues to make progress every day. He’ll need a calm, understanding home that allows him to build trust at his own pace. He’s still working on basic training and would benefit from gentle guidance and routine. Mason is an athletic boy and will jump or climb a fence if left unattended, so a secure yard and supervision are important. In return, you’ll gain a loyal companion who just needs someone willing to show him that he’s finally safe. If you have a soft spot for the quiet ones and believe in second chances, Mason may be the perfect fit for you.  Mason is hanging out with his rescuer and foster mom, Carol, in Tennessee. Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Monty is a sweet, gentle boy who’s still learning that people can be trusted. Like his brother Mason, he can be a bit withdrawn at first, but once Monty realizes you’re kind and patient, his true personality begins to emerge. He warms up with quiet reassurance and does best with someone who will let him move at his own pace. Monty is currently in a foster home in Tennessee with Mason and does well with other dogs. He’s still working on training and would benefit from a consistent routine and positive reinforcement. Monty is athletic and can jump or climb a fence, so he’ll need a secure environment and supervision when outside. At his core, Monty just wants what every dog deserves—a safe place, a gentle hand, and someone who will love him for who he is. With time and understanding, Monty will make a loyal, devoted companion. If you’re looking to make a real difference in a dog’s life, Monty is waiting for his chance.   Monty is hanging out with his rescuer and foster mom, Carol, in Tennessee. Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Meet Molly, Molly is a beautiful, energetic young girl weighing approximately 40 pounds and is likely an Australian Kelpie mix (best guess). She is around 1 year old and full of potential. Molly was found abandoned at a church, where a kind neighbor stepped in to give her a flea bath and make sure she was fed. When she came into rescue, she was in heat and was spayed right away. She does great with structure and routine. Molly sleeps inside a kennel overnight with no accidents, uses a dog door confidently, and is kenneled next to another dog. While they may bark at each other at times, there is no aggression. Because of her youthful energy and Australian Kelpie breed traits. This breed is known for being absolutely a brilliant, high-energy dogs were bred for herding in the rugged Australian outback - and it shows!* Kelpie Highlights: Super Smart - Quick learners and love a challenge. High Energy - Always ready to go, go, go! Great for an active family. Molly would do best in a home with older children. She walks nicely on leash and actually seems calmer when leashed. She already knows how to sit on command, is very smart, and is highly trainable—she’s going to thrive with continued guidance and enrichment. Molly is ready for a committed home that will help her channel her energy and continue her training so she can be the amazing dog she’s meant to be. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Molly is hanging out with her foster mom, Carol, in Tennessee. Freya was adopted from us as a puppy and recently returned to us. Apparently she did not get along well with their other dog. She does need to be spayed and will be before going to her new home. She has a lot of energy and would benefit from having a fenced yard and/or an active family. She is microchipped, up to date on vaccines and current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Meet Scout: Australian Cattle Dog Mix | High Energy | People Lover Scout is an amazing dog who deserves an active home where he can thrive. He's smart, affectionate, and has never shown aggression toward people; just the opposite. He loves to snuggle, play fetch, chase frisbees, and would be perfect for hiking and outdoor adventures. Why we're rehoming: Scout has resource-guarded food around our other dog a few times (never breaking skin, but concerning with young kids around). His constant high energy has also impacted our older dog's quality of life. Scout adores his brother, but Copper just wants peace. What Scout needs: An active owner who can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He'd do best as an only dog or with a high-energy playmate. He's the type of dog you can take everywhere! 15-20 years ago, he would've been my dream dog. Scout is loyal, loving, and ready to be someone's perfect adventure partner. With the right home, he'll be absolutely incredible!
