Story
Shadow is a beautiful and athletic 1 year old English Shepherd. He is affectionate, potty trained, loves being around the kids, and up to date with shots. He does bark a lot at strangers and has anxiety with outside family members. He does great with our old dog and cat but not good with any other animals outside the home. I do not recommend him for a family that already has a dog for this reason. unfortunately, he herds the children with nips and I feel like I run out of resources to help him and cannot risk anymore kids getting nips. I believe he is trainable. He does not herd my kids anymore but he does herd their friends. I wish I could keep him and trust him but it makes me very nervous with neighbors coming over while he is in the backyard. I pray someone will love him and work with him! He is a great companion.

Hello! My name is Crow. I came to RASKC as a stray and now I`m ready to find a new home!I can be a bit of a shy lady at first, but I really am so, so sweet. I`m a bit of a `velcro dog` and would like someone who enjoys being together all the time - snuggling, playing, and just relaxing. I walk pretty nicely on leash and would like a home where I can get outdoors regularly for some good, fresh air. I`m lukewarm on treats and toys, but that may change once I`m settled in a home. Right now I`m only kind of interested in squeaky toys. Mostly I just want you to squeak them for me, it makes me so happy I start bowing and bouncing all over the place. I weigh 42lbs and am considered a medium size dog. Due to my shyness, I may be most successful in a teen/adult home. My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Hi! My name is Oscar and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on April 10th, 2024.I am considered a `medium breed` dog.I want to think that I am a very smart dog, but I get so destracted by everything around me that I need a little bit of training in order to show it.I am an affectionate lovebug who would love to show you just how much of a lover I am. Though I am more than happy to take my toys and just go play by myself. So i`m the best of both worlds, a cuddler and indepentant.I am full of energy and I love to play, play, play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.Due to my over excited behavior here in the shelter, the staff believe that I would do best in a home with older children who are dog savvy.My personality color is RED. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!
