Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.I'm an active dog! I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures.It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I need a space of my own. I sometimes have a hard time sharing my treats, toys, or bed with other pets. I'm going through a divorce and can't take care of Sparrow properly due to my busy schedule. Sparrow is a very sweet girl who would do best with someone who can spoil her and give her lots of pets. She's anxious and shy and would be happiest if she was the only pet. She's 12 years old and 8 pounds. She loves relaxing, food, going on car rides and walks!

Story
Sophie is a Pit/Australian shepherd mix. At least, that's what we were told. We found her on Craigslist last January. We don't really know much about her previous life. She is around a year old and is not spayed. We are rehoming her because she does not get along with our 14 yr old chi-weinie. She does however play nicely with our other chi-weinie who is a year old.We have taken her to a couple of obedience classes. She is eager to please and very treat motivated. She knows how to sit and shake hands and loves playing fetch. We are still learning how to walk on a leash. Once she learns her manners she would make a great hiking and camping companion. Our hope is to find her a home where she is included in everything and gets the attention she deserves. She loves giving kisses, getting belly rubs and rides in the car.She is up to date on shots but is not microchipped.If you believe you have the patience and energy to keep up with Sophie, she's your girl! $200 rehoming fee.
