Story
Bailey is an 8 and a half year old Australian Shepard who loves her walks and big open spaces! Shes great at playing fetch as well and loves to play! Bailey is a timid pup but very friendly and good with other dogs. Baileys ideal hone would be in a house with a yard for her to be able to roam and explore. While she does like to explore at home she does have some anxiety while driving and would ideally need a home where she isn't moved around often as well.

I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.I am used to living an active lifestyle! I would love to get up and go adventure with you. Walks, hikes, and trips to the beach or river all sound like a grand time to me!I can't wait to show my new family how playful I am!There is a 100% chance I will make you fall in love with me!The type of home I'm looking for: I need to go to a home without small children. **Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to Portland for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Copper! Copper is a very sweet, playful guy! He is around 4 years old, and at his last vet visit weighed in at 60 pounds. We think Copper probably has some Australian Shepherd, along with several other breeds including possibly Belgian Shepherd, Greyhound or Carolina dog. Copper is a beautiful and happy boy. He’s lucky to be alive! Copper came to us from the shelter at a time when he was minutes from losing his life because he had an upper respiratory infection. We are so glad he is with us now, and he is in a training program getting ready for his forever home! Copper does well in a crate, he also does well on a leash. Copper would love to be a hiking or running buddy! His foster mom said he is doing well at learning house training. Copper loves to play with his doggy friends especially tug-of-war with the big rope toys and will do wonderful at a daycare or dog park with other active and playful dogs! Interested in becoming a forever home for Copper? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Copper. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Copper the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Here's what you need to know about me:< Hi, I'm Janice! I can be a little shy in new places, but once I warm up, especially if you have a ball, we'll be best friends fast. I love playing fetch, have lots of energy, and treats definitely win me over. I can get extra excited during playtime because I'm just so happy! After the fun, I enjoy relaxing with a long-lasting chew. If you're looking for a playful, enthusiastic companion, I might be your girl! I have some handling sensitivity. That means I have some preferences about how and where I get petted. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!I would love a family experienced with working breeds or willing to learn. I have some behaviors and preferences that are typical of dogs with a working temperament and would thrive with a family who understands those needs.I'm not on the general adoption floor. You might not see me when you come to visit. So please speak to an adoption counselor if you'd like to meet me. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Black Weight: 67.2 Age: 3yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Cuteness overload!! Sailor is a 1 year old 55 lbs rescue came into our rescue when we were told about four dogs that were living with an unhoused man who allowed the dogs to roam freely in the streets while dodging traffic. Thankfully, we were able to get him to surrender all of the dogs to us. We got them straight to our vet where they were all fully vetted. He is now looking for his forever home! This sweet boy is a 1-year-old, 54lb,Kelpie / Akita. He wants to please and craves human companionship. He is just freaking awesome, can be goofy and playful, it’s just so rewarding to see a pup that had absolutely nothing and no future to see him play with toys and bones for the first time is priceless. Also he is not resource guarding and very willing to share if we tell him to. What a fantastic dog and so loyal. Someone that is not gone long hours during the day, and a home with a safe and secure yard for him to play in. Active owners that will walk daily is exactly what he needs! He is such a wonderful dog and is good with everyone he meets! He deserves the best forever home out there and we won't stop till we find it! This one is like hitting the Jackpot. 🔥❤️😍💕 He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. 😍🔥😍🔥😍🔥😍

Story
Jack is a year and a half old black Labrador retriever. When we bought him we did a DNA test on him to know what other breeds he was mixed with. Reaults in pictures. He is great with kids and other dogs. We bought him when he was 12 weeks old. The person we bought him from had him in the house, for us he has been an outside dog. He is neutered, loves to run and play, will play fetch and is leash trained. He is not food aggressive and he loves treats!
