Hello, World. Meet Zhanna! -ADVENTURE PARTNER -OUTDOOR SUPERSTAR Zhanna is currently about 4 months old and we think she may be a Lab mix but with rescue it is always a bit of a mystery! From her foster: "She is a true herding dog and thrives with a family. She gets bored easily and will find something to do - So she'll keep you busy! She is so smart - good and bad. You gotta keep her busy too lol. She is protective and has a strong personality" Zhanna is playful and SUPER sweet. She absolutely THRIVES on affection and cuddling is her language of choice. She loves to play with other dogs and her toys and then cuddle up for a nap. Zhanna is still pretty young so she will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization and all of the hard stuff that comes with owning a young puppy. However, she will make up for it with a bunch of kisses! Her new family will have to work with him on potty training, crate training, and basic commands. As she gets older we anticipate she will be a higher energy dog and will likely require physical and mental exercise daily. She will be perfect to take on long walks around the neighborhood! Zhanna is still at the age where she can be easily socialized to coexist with children, dogs & cats! Don't miss out on this amazing girl! We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! Story
Meet Hartman Marina!! He is a unique looking pup. He is catahoula/shepherd mix. He is a fine looking fellow. Hartman is white with beautiful brindle markings around both eyes. I mean who can resist those floppy ears. He is definitely a head turner. He weighs estimate 20lbs and doesn’t really expect to get much bigger. This little pup had a rough start into the world. He was abandoned and left for dead along with his brother Fred under a bridge in Baytown, TX. He luck would soon turn around after he was spotted by a boating couple on their way back to the Marina. They say all they saw in the darkness of night were a pair of glowing eyes on the shore and as they approached a second pair of eyes peeked out from behind a rock and just like that they were saved. Hardman is a sweet and kind puppy, who has your typical puppy energy that any 5 month old puppy would have. He is a happy go lucky little guy who loves everyone in his path. He is also compatible with any size dog and cat friendly and loves children. He enjoys playing fetch and will bring the object back to you to throw it again, and also playing tug of war is his fav. He also likes to look at himself in the dresser mirror when he’s on the bed and then trying to find the dog on the other side. He’s quite the character. He loves to cuddle and give kisses. He would want nothing more than to snuggle on the couch with you during movie night. He definitely loves his canine companions. So he would be over joyed having a pal to pal around with. He is still a puppy so he will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization, and all the things that come with raising a puppy. He is potty trained and crate trained , and sits on command. He will hold a conversation with you as well lol. He picks up very quickly with commands. I’m telling you, Hartman will steal your heart the moment you meet him. Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! Story
Introducing this cute little energetic pup Sawyer Shep! Sawyer is super floofy with a soft black and brown coat. He is currently 12 weeks old and we believe he is a mini Aussie mix but with rescue it is always a bit of a mystery! This boy weighs about 15 lbs and is so playful and sweet. Sawyer is such an happy boy! He can’t wait to run and play and get all his zoomies out then lay in your lap and be cuddled. He is still learning what is means to be a puppy! We believe Sawyer will be around 30-40 lbs. We don’t know what size or breed his parents were so this is just a guess! This cutie would do well in a home with other dogs and kids. He would also benefit from a fenced in back yard where he can run and play to his hearts context. Sawyer is young and his personality is changing and evolving all the time! He will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization and all of the hard stuff that comes with owning a young puppy. However, he will make up for it with a bunch of kisses and puppy snuggles! His new family will have to work with him on potty training, crate training, and basic commands. As he gets older, we anticipate he will likely require daily physical and mental exercise. He will be perfect to take on walks around the neighborhood, family trips and occasional hikes!
