Story
Chance is a rare to find English Springer Spaniel.  You don’t really see them much as an offering in the rescue world. This 70 pound handsome 7 year old hunk is so very sweet was rescued from a puppy  mill where he was “used” as a stud.  His foster mom rescued him from living outside all his life in a small pen with no comforts that he so very much deserved.  He was not a family pet, but a commodity where he was used to produce puppies so the people could sell them.  Chance was not potty trained of course but he is almost there now and belly bands are used to help him stay out of trouble with marking.  He is not neutered yet due to appointments being scarce. He will be soon and that will certainly help the housebreaking.  The woman who owned him said he came inside the house may be a few times over his life and so he was “rescued” from that life by a dear woman who is now working with Critter Cavalry Rescue to find him a home.  Oh my this dog is a dream and he is so much “loving” the inside life with air conditioning or heat on a colder evening or day.  He will be neutered the 24th May! He loves the water and swimming in his foster’s pond! He does have this really precious smile where it kinda looks like he’s growling but he is NOT! He is the best boy! He loves to sleep amongst the pillows on the bed and for once in his life he is living like he should…a King among Dog Kings!  If want to the be envy of your dog friends, then you  must consider making Chance your very own “chance of a lifetime”.   Please consider Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   You won’t regret it. Pipper 16 lbs 11 weeks old There are three puppies in this letter and they are all female Piper is the largest of this litter and definitely the most dominant of the group, she’s is definitely bossy and will take anything she wants from her sisters, separate from them she’s quite the adventurous one, very affectionate and she loves water, she will quite happily lay down in the wading pool on a nice warm day and enjoy the water. She also likes to splash around in it, and play with a hose, so if you’re looking for a water dog she could be perfect for you!

Poppy is the lightest of the litter at 11lbs and 11 weeks old but not the shortest, she’s very slender and also enjoys playing in water, she’s very sweet and very affectionate, and has the most beautiful green eyes. She’s happy to be held and loves to rough and tumble with piper.

Pippa is the smallest of the litter but not the lightest, she’s about 12lbs and 11 weeks old she’s the shy girl, she’s the cuddliest of the group and in my opinion the sweetest, she’s more than happy to sit by your side or lay in your arms and watch her sisters playing, she adores my older male dog and i think she would benefit from another dog in the home as she does lack confidence a bit.

MEET SAMMIE! You can meet her at the Durham Fairgrounds adoption event on May 17th-19th Sammie is a 7 year old English Springer Spaniel in need of rehoming. She loves to snuggle and has never shown aggression toward anyone! She is dog friendly, spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is also house and crate trained! Sammie has been living with another dog and likes to play with other dogs too, though she would do best in a cat free home. She has only ever spent time with children around the age of 10, so we aren’t sure how she would behave with the littler ones. Sammie would love a fenced in yard, but it isn’t a requirement as long as her new family can provide the exercise she needs. She does have some anxiety when overstimulated and likes to chew on her blanky and knead it like a cat, she is taking medication that helps.
