Meet Moose
Moose is a young, well-mannered gentleman who has been an absolute joy since arriving in his foster home. For a pup his age, he has impressively good manners and a calm, easygoing personality. He enjoys being close to his people but also does a great job respecting boundaries—making him a wonderful balance of affectionate and independent.
Moose has some playful puppy energy and may occasionally jump up or try to “shop” from the counters, but he responds well to commands like “down,” “no,” and “drop.” He’s eager to please and already has a strong foundation of good behavior to build on. He is food motivated, which will make continued training even more successful.
He walks nicely on a leash, rides like an angel in the car, and is crate trained—sleeping quietly through the night. Moose is generally a quiet boy who rarely barks or whines. While he has been known to chew on shoes or items left out in the past, he’s been doing great sticking to his toys and chew bones in his foster home.
Moose would make a fantastic choice for a first-time giant breed owner thanks to his sweet temperament and good manners. He could do well with other pets but would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. A fenced yard would be a great bonus to help him burn off his puppy energy.
With a little continued obedience training and structure, Moose is sure to grow into an exceptional companion. If you’re looking for a loving, well-rounded dog with a great personality, Moose is ready to be your new best friend.
