Story
Meet Malia although Malia is FIV+, that in no way hinders her from being the sweetest and most lovable kitty you will ever find! She can live harmoniously with any other pet! Malia is a quiet, sweet soul who originally hails from Kuwait and has perfected the art of calm companionship. She’s not loud or demanding—just softly present, with the sweetest little meows.Malia takes bedtime very seriously. Each night, after a long and stressful day of sleeping, she winds down by making biscuits all around the bed to properly prepare the space. She also likes to supervise meal prep, carefully inspecting her bowl, while food is being prepared to ensure everything meets her standards. An accomplished explorer, Malia enjoys investigating closets, curling up in laundry baskets, and watching the world go by—whether that’s kitty TV, the washing machine, or even video games.Malia has experience living around both cats and dogs, including an adult dog and a puppy. She really enjoys being close with other kitties. While she’s had to gently remind the puppy of her boundaries a few times , she’s also learning to tolerate canine roommates. If you’re looking for a serene, affectionate cat, Malia may be your perfect match. PLEASE READ: If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, please apply online at www.catdogfriendrescue.com. Please do NOT call or send inquiries via Adopt A Pet or PetFinder as we are a small rescue and cannot handle a large influx of inquiries and phone calls. You can email us at acatsfriendinc@gmail.com if you have questions, but if you would like to be considered for adoption, you must fill out an application. Please note if you are applying for a kitten under six months of age, you must have another friendly kitty in the home or adopt another kitten. Additionally, unless otherwise indicted that this animal is a purebred, all of our animals are rescues and the "breed" selection is a best guess based on their apperance as we have no way of knowing their specific breeds.  Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. We look forward to hearing from you! Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter and microchip insertion.  Please note these are not pedigree animals and we have no way of attesting if any of them are hypoallergenic and as such cannot adopt to homes with allergies. ##2551774##

Story
Meet Lolo — A Gentle Globe-Trotter Looking for Her Forever Home Straight from Kuwait to the Washington, D.C. area, Lolo is a true little world traveler with a heart as soft as her snowy Persian fur. Loved dearly by her previous owner, she made the long journey here after her human fell ill and could no longer care for her — and now she’s ready to write her next chapter with a family who will cherish her just as much. 🐾 About Lolo With her classic Persian features — including that perfect little button nose — Lolo is a show-stopping beauty. But it’s her personality that truly shines: Sweetly Social: She enjoys companionship but at her own gentle pace. Affectionate Heart: Lolo’s soft purrs and biscuit-making sessions are her love language. Calm & Curious: While she’s not super playful yet, she watches the world with thoughtful interest. Gets Along Well: So far, she’s done wonderfully with other cats and is being fostered alongside dogs and small children. Her interactions with them have been limited, but every sign points to her being able to integrate smoothly into a variety of homes. 💖 Who She’s Looking For Lolo would thrive in a loving household that appreciates a gentle companion. She’s not demanding — she simply wants a safe place, kind humans, and space to show her affectionate side at her own pace. She has so much love to give, and she gives it softly. 🏡 Ready to Come Home Lolo is fully vetted and ready to settle in with her forever family. If you’ve been dreaming of a calm, loving, elegant feline friend, Lolo may be the perfect match. Bring home this sweet globe-trotting girl and let her soft purrs fill your days.
