Story
We pulled Colby along with his brother and sister from a high kill shelter in GA when they were 10 weeks old. Their mom is a pure bred Black standard Poodle that was allowed to run and she came home pregnant. All three pup look a bit different, so we are sure there were different dads. Colby looks like he has Brittany spaniel in him but that is only a guess He has long wavy hair a scruffy face and seems to be very low shedding. Colby's brother and sister have now gone to their new homes, and he is anxiously waiting for his family! We think that Colby will be close to 60 lbs when grown. He loves people although a bit shy at first and he loves other dogs. He is one happy boy all the time. We're all just crazy about his cuteness! He is now 8 months old and UTD on shots and has been neutered and microchipped Colby is happy, playful and affectionate. He would be a great addition to any family. Story
Sweet Margo has a story, wish she could tell us about it! Luckily for her, she was rescued and is now enjoying plenty of cuddle time in a warm house. She is learning to trust. She wags her little tail and curls up next to you, accepting belly rubs (as she deserves!). Margo has eye drops daily to help her cataracts. She is house trained and just wants to be loved. Someone is going to be lucky to adopt this lady. Margo is estimated to be 6 years old and under 15 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Meet Ari! Ari is a sweet and affectionate 2-year-old poodle mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. She recently made her way north from Arkansas, where she was found as a stray in a high-kill shelter—and we’re so grateful she was given a second chance at the life she deserves. Ari does wonderfully with both dogs and children, making her an excellent fit for families or multi-pet homes. Cats are currently unknown, as Ari hasn’t had the opportunity to meet one yet. She’s kennel trained, walks well on a leash, and continues to make great progress with house training, especially when given consistency, routine, and positive encouragement. Ari is eager to learn and truly wants to please her people. One of Ari’s favorite things is simply being close to her humans. She loves following you from room to room, curling up nearby, or quietly keeping you company throughout the day. Because of this, Ari thrives on companionship and connection and will do best in a home where she isn’t left alone for long stretches of time. With her calm sweetness balanced by playful, happy moments, Ari has a way of quickly becoming a cherished member of the family. She’s the kind of dog who will steal your heart without even trying—and once she does, she’ll love you right back with everything she has.
